Chapter : 24 : First Character Template Completed :
" Haa ! Take that I won . "

" Well then I guess Inojin will be taking us for our lunch today . "

At this moment the group of four friends consisting of Shikadai , Cho Cho , Inojin and Takeru were going towards the Ichiraku Ramen Shop .
While the three of them had a very pleasant expression on their faces the last remaining person Yamanaka Inojin was thinking for the welfare of his wallet .
To be honest he missed the days where his new friend Takeru used to be bad in video games .
But just like his crazy talent in shinobi art the boy quickly adapted and became the non disrupted king of the video games within the group.
' it seems from the next time I will need to have to call Boruto before fighting him in a video game . '
Takeru on the other hand was having a very good day and had a huge smile plastered on his face .
' Man ! Today's weather is really good . '
Obviously weather alone was not the main reason for his good mood .

Looking at the rewards and the system notification in front of him, Takeru's smile grew even more .
It has been around a little more than a week since his first debut in the academy .
And after the craze of his performance had calmed down he finally got himself more time and energy to practice his character templates even further.
It was then just today before meeting his friend when he was having his training session did he finally manage to complete his Miyamoto Musashi Template .
It was his first character template totally completed .
' And the rewards are pretty hefty . '
Not only would he get the next character template at midnight but also got 4 additional rewards .
' A rare summoning scroll? I wonder what that would be . '
The shinobi world was filled with various kinds of powerful summoning creatures .
While only a few were actually shown in the original series the amount is very vast and different .
A summoning creature if strong and versatile could become a great friend for any shinobi .
But it also comes with risks as it was shown in the case when Boruto tried using a summoning without precautions .
' So I think I should put this summoning scroll aside for now . '
Then Takeru noticed the second reward .
' A new secret training ground outside the village . '
To be honest this was not something he would have expected for the system to give .
After all why would he need a secret training ground .
But thinking about it again he felt that the idea itself was not bad .
Now that his strength was growing faster than ever with new powers on the way he needed to be more careful .
And for that purpose his current training area was becoming less and less suitable .
And he was already looking for a better place where he could train without attracting too much attention.
' Tomorrow I will go out and see this new training ground for myself . '
But the most important reward he felt right now to him was the third reward.
' A ninjutsu scroll containing knowledge about the basic rasengan technique . '
Rasengan the ninjutsu created by none other than Namikaze Minato and perfected under his successors like Uzumaki Naruto and Boruto is one of the strongest technique in the entire series .
And while the basic version is nowhere near as advanced as Rasenshuriken or Rasengan Uzuhiko, it is still a very strong ninjutsu .
' The best part about this technique is that if you master the basic one there is always the chance of working upon it to make something new . '
The technique itself is shown to be very adaptable and has a lot of room for improvement and modifications according to the users .
Techniques like the vanishing rasengan is the direct proof of it .
' Once I master the basic version of it I can put forward my own ideas into the matter . '
When he was a fan of the series in his previous life he would engage in conversation with his other friends about how new ninjutsu techniques could be created .
This was one of his favourite pastime and while the things could only remain a theory at that point but now at least he had the chance to make that theory come into reality .
' Then there is the last reward: the immediate 4% increase in the next character template power . '
He was very interested in what new power he would get this time .
After all the last time the two character templates he got were already enough to make him a powerhouse among all the rest in the shinobi world .
And if it was during the third great shinobi war then he would already be at the top of the world .
But still it was not enough to make him to stand against the new threats of this Boruto era .

As he was thinking all of this in his mind the group finally reached the Raman shop and went inside .
" Everyone how about we hold a picnic at the end of the month . "
At this moment Cho Cho look at everyone and asked .
She had been thinking about a picnic for a long time now and wanted all of her friends to be present over there .
" Sorry I can't my uncle Gara will be coming in a few days so I might not be able to participate . "
However Shikadai quickly shook his head and rejected the offer .
This was a disappointment to the girl but she understood after all his uncles were coming from the sand village so it was better if he spent some time with them .
However Takeru who was listening from the side quickly looked at the Nara boy with interest .
" Shikadai, your uncle's name is Gara ? "
" Why ? Do you have a problem with that ? "
" Cough ! Cough ! That's not what I said, you idiot . "
" I was just asking if your uncle is the Fifth Kazekage . "
" Yeah ! That's him alright . "
" Yes Takeru you may not know this before but his uncle is indeed the fifth Kazekage of the hidden sand village . "
Takeru, who had started the conversation on the matter, already knew who Gara was in this regard .
The reason he asked that question was to see if he can also meet the person .
After settling into this world and relaxing a lot more he really now wanted to meet all the old characters from the Naruto series .
It was like a dream to him .
Because he had already met Shikamaru, and some of the other characters, he now wanted to meet Gara .

" We are here with news that some reports of strange incidents have been reported in the past few days . "
The female host on the television continued her reporting .
" While the cause of these mysterious incidents have not yet been clarified by any of the official sources . "
" It is advised for everyone to be careful and report such incidents to the authorities as fast as possible . "
Listening to this news, Takeru who was eating at that point quickly turned around to look at the TV .
' Hmmm ! It seems the events are already starting to show. '
While everyone at this moment had not paid attention to the events, Takeru already knew that a dark shadow was already looming over the village .
And a certain purple haired girl had a lot of connections to it .
' Sigh ! I really don't want to get involved in this trouble . '

" You can't just believe in such stories . "
While shopping Takeru heard a lot of customers talking about the mysterious incidents that were reported by the news .
And the reaction among the people were divided .
Some people believed the spooky stories but on the other hand many people did not believe it .
' Well whatever as I said before I will not enter the situation until and unless I have to . '
Right now all of his focus is on improving his Senju Hashirama template and working with whatever new character template he will get soon.
While this incident would certainly be a major point of the original storyline however much more important events were coming in the future .
" And I need to prepare for those as soon as possible. "
With that thought in mind he went towards his home with bags of groceries in his hand .
However what he would not know right now is that fate would once again force is him towards the spotlight .
Location Change : Takeru's House :
Time Skip : Almost Midnight :
" Alright let's begin . "
Sitting in his study chair, Takeru was very excited at this moment .
It was approaching midnight already and right now it would be the perfect moment when his new character template arrived .
To be honest he was at this moment both excited and a little nervous.
He was getting a new power and there was a lot of uncertainty about it.
What if he gets a weaker character template .
What if that power is not enough for him to grow?
While he still believed that the system would give him a good reward anyway but still those thoughts were like a constant presence.
And finally after waiting for what seemed like eternity the system interface appeared .
