Meanwhile in the Camp, the Soldiers tried to fight Aiden's group
But Sharp Air cutters from Noivern cut them in half, Poison breath from Jormungandr poisons them killing them, as Anansi and Aiden sticky Threads capture them and steal the Thread cut them in half
But then a fire came wall came, as everyone backed off, as they saw someone walk up to them.
He had Golden yellow hair, fair skin, and wore what seemed like a novel Outfit which left his Chest and abs exposed. His cape was falling in the wind as he looked arrogant. "Tch, I was having fun with my Favourite Woman, and this happened".
Alexander's fiery aura crackled as he stepped forward, his golden hair gleaming like molten sunlight. The flames behind him rippled with each stride, licking at the air as though obeying his will.
The Volt soldiers dropped to one knee, trembling—not out of fear, but devotion. Their cheers were almost manic, echoing through the ruined camp.
"COMMANDER ALEXANDER!"
He turned his gaze toward them, eyes glowing faintly crimson. "Who," he said softly, "gave you the right to say my name?"
The tone alone froze the soldiers mid-chant. His hand moved lazily through the air—yet every one of the cheering Volt men erupted in flames, their screams echoing as they turned to ash.
Silence fell. Only the crackle of burning corpses filled the camp.
Aiden's slime body rippled slightly. "Well… that's new. Usually, the bad guys want followers."
Fenrir's low growl rumbled in his mind. Master, that man… reeks of arrogance and divine flame.
Radomira's eyes narrowed. "He's not human anymore. That kind of aura… it's been twisted by something stronger."
Alexander glanced toward Aiden's group, his smirk returning. "A slime, a spider, a few beasts, and a half-formed dragon? Volt has truly fallen far if this is what you send to challenge me."
He extended a hand, and a sword of pure fire materialized, burning brighter than any forge flame. "But… I suppose even trash deserves to be incinerated with style."
Aiden's expression didn't change, though his body shimmered with faint golden light. "Oh great. Another pretty boy who thinks fire makes him cool."
Radomira smirked beside him, her wings unfurling with a whisper of darkness. "Then let's make him sweat."
The ground trembled as Fenrir's pack began to circle, Jormungandr hissed venom into the earth, and Noivern's wings flared, slicing the air like blades.
Alexander just grinned wider, fire crawling across his bare chest like serpents.
"Show me, then," he said, raising his blade toward the sky. "Show me the power that killed my dogs."
Aiden's voice was calm—too calm.
"Gladly."
Lightning flashed. The battlefield roared.
The King of Fire met the Slime of Rebirth head-on
Radomira tilted her head, a dangerous smirk curving her lips as her crimson eyes gleamed in the firelight. "So, want me to help?" she asked, her tone playfully calm—but the faint ripple of dark magic beneath her voice betrayed her readiness to tear Alexander apart if given the word.
Aiden's golden slime body pulsed once, glowing faintly with divine energy as he glanced back at her. "No," he said evenly, "I'll handle this."
His tone wasn't arrogant. It was absolute. The kind of confidence that made even Radomira's smirk deepen.
Alexander's eyes slid over to her, dragging across her form with indulgent arrogance. His smirk widened, dripping with condescension.
"What fine beauty…" he murmured. "I suppose after I'm done with this little… blob, I'll spare you. It'd be a shame to let such a divine body go to waste. You'll make a perfect addition to my collection."
The moment those words left his mouth, the air cracked.
Aiden didn't move—but every creature in his army, from Fenrir to Jormungandr, felt it. A suffocating pressure rolled off his form, his once-soft golden aura hardening into jagged, molten energy. The ground beneath him began to melt, steam hissing between cracks.
"Collection…?" Aiden's voice was no longer calm. It carried the sound of thunder buried beneath his words.
"Say that again. I dare you."
Alexander grinned, clearly unfazed. "Tch, such a temper for a puddle—"
CRACK!
Aiden's body vanished from sight—no, moved faster than sight. The next moment, Alexander's smirk twisted into surprise as a glowing, golden fist slammed into his chest, sending him crashing through two burning tents and into the dirt, his flame sword spinning away.
The earth trembled from the impact.
When the dust cleared, Alexander was standing again—but blood trickled from his mouth, steam hissing from the wound. His smirk faltered for the first time.
Aiden's voice cut through the silence, sharp and cold.
"You don't touch my people. You don't talk about my people. Especially not her."
Radomira chuckled lowly, crossing her arms. "You know, I'm supposed to be the Goddess of Lust and Wrath… but right now, you're making me feel underqualified."
Alexander wiped the blood from his lip, his eyes blazing brighter. "You… insignificant slime!"
The air ignited. Flames erupted around him, forming a blazing inferno that swallowed the night sky. The ground scorched beneath his feet, forming molten cracks as his armor reappeared—ornate, golden-red, and covered in runic fire.
"I am Alexander Volt, Commander of the Burning Legion! I have burned kingdoms to cinders—what are you but a failed experiment pretending to be a man?!"
Aiden's form shimmered, and suddenly his slime condensed into his humanoid form—a tall, sharp-featured figure with golden eyes burning like miniature suns. A divine sigil pulsed faintly across his chest.
"I'm the mistake that fixes everything you broke."
He raised his hand—and lightning gathered, forming a blade of golden plasma.
Radomira stepped back, a faint smirk curling her lips as she whispered.
"Burn him, my king."
The ground exploded as both charged.
Alexander's flames met Aiden's divine thunder.
A storm of gold and crimson engulfed the night.
The Volt banners burned away under the shockwave.
And for the first time since his ascension, Alexander Volt was forced to fight for his life.
Alexander moved his arms, as Pillars of fire erupted from the ground as it went to Aiden, and then the Grand Guardian Activated as a Golden Shield protected him, Aiden moved as he came behind Alexander, as he wrapped him around Sticky Threads as he slammed him to the ground
Alexander then burned in the fire, as his flames burned the string away, and he summoned a fire Sword and sliced Aiden in half.
But then Aidne kicked him in the stomach sending him back flying. "Wow, thank you Thermal Fluctuation Resistance Skill".
Great Sage then spoke.
["Skill Adaptation activated"]
Aiden spoke in his head, as he moved in front of Alexander, and he punched Alexander, but Alexander blocked the fist.
Alexander looked at Aiden as he spoke. "Impossible, Slimes are weak to flames?".
Aiden spun up ready to kick him. "Will, I am not a Normal slime".
Alexander's eyes widened as Aiden's leg shimmered with heat, a faint distortion in the air warping around it.
Before he could react, Aiden's heel crashed into his ribs—an explosion of force rippled outward, sending Alexander crashing through three trees before embedding into the fourth. The flames that once cloaked his body flickered and dimmed.
Aiden straightened, dust and embers brushing off his armor. "You really talk too much for a guy who burns everything he touches," he said calmly, his tone sharp as a blade.
Alexander spat out blood as he stood up, eyes burning red. "You think this is over? You dare mock me?"
Flames erupted around him once again, coalescing into a massive phoenix of fire that screeched and circled the battlefield. The ground turned molten under his feet.
Great Sage's voice echoed in Aiden's mind.
["Warning: Temperature exceeding 3200 degrees Celsius. Thermal barrier at 80%. Suggest initiating Countermeasure: Cryo Burst."]
Aiden smirked. "Perfect timing."
He extended his hand, and frost began to spread from his palm, the air crystallizing into shimmering mist.
"Let's see how your flames handle absolute zero."
Alexander roared, sending the phoenix diving toward him. The sky burned red, but as the creature descended, the frost around Aiden exploded outward—Cryo Burst unleashed in a blinding shockwave of ice and wind.
The two elements collided—fire and frost, destruction and stillness—creating a pillar of steam that tore into the heavens.
As the light faded, Aiden's silhouette stood firm amidst the scorched, frozen ground.
Alexander was kneeling, his armor half-melted, half-frozen, his breath ragged.
Aiden approached slowly. "Still think I'm just a slime?"
Alexander gritted his teeth, summoning one last surge of flame around his arm—but Aiden caught it bare-handed, the heat dispersing harmlessly.
"Your flames… have no effect on me anymore."
And with one final strike, Aiden drove his fist into Alexander's chest, the impact echoing like thunder as the fire mage was sent crashing into the distance, flames extinguished.
Alexander's charred body lay still, steam rising from the frozen ground around him. Aiden crouched down beside him, his expression thoughtful rather than cold. The glow of his aura faded as the battlefield fell silent—only the faint crackle of dying flames remained.
Aiden sighed softly. "Actually… I kinda like this guy's body."
Radomira blinked, lowering her hands mid-clap. "Wait—what?"
She tilted her head, golden eyes narrowing in suspicion. "Don't tell me… you're actually planning to do that thing Rimuru did with Shizue Izawa?"
Aiden looked up at her, grin forming. "Yup. Why waste a perfectly good vessel? Plus, I might get some cool fire skills out of this—and maybe a hotter body. Longer yellow hair, golden eyes, just a bit of modification. Stylish, right?"
Radomira crossed her arms, smirking despite herself. "You're unbelievable. My boyfriend—absorbing corpses for fashion upgrades."
He chuckled. "Hey, I call it recycling."
Great Sage's calm voice interrupted.
["Confirmation: Soul of Target—Alexander—contains Unique Skill: Infernal Rebirth. Integrating will yield high fire resistance, flame manipulation, and transformation capabilities. Proceed with assimilation?"]
Aiden nodded. "Do it."
The body beneath him shimmered, disintegrating into pure energy that flowed into his form. Flames and frost spiraled together, dancing around him in perfect balance as Great Sage's voice echoed once more.
["Assimilation complete. New skills acquired: Infernal Rebirth, Solar Ignition, and Phoenix Regeneration. Minor transformation recommended to stabilize energy."]
A golden-red aura flared as Aiden's hair lengthened slightly, glowing faintly like molten gold under sunlight. His eyes ignited with twin crimson rings, flickering like living fire.
Radomira's smirk softened into admiration as she clapped again, slower this time, genuine pride in her eyes. "Well… you really do know how to make an entrance, don't you, Flame Lord?"
Aiden looked at her, his lips curling into a teasing smile. "Flame Lord, huh? Not bad. I might keep that title."
She walked closer, tracing a hand through the glowing air around him. "Just don't go turning into a walking volcano, alright? I like my boyfriend in one piece."
He laughed softly. "No promises."
Aiden looked down at himself—his new form shimmered with ember-like veins of gold beneath his skin, his hair flowing longer than before, and his eyes glowing like molten metal. "Well," he said with a faint grin, flexing his hand as heat rippled around him, "I guess I get to do this."
He stepped closer to Radomira, whose face softened as she gazed up at him. Before she could speak, he leaned in and pressed his lips gently against hers.
Radomira froze for a heartbeat, then closed her eyes, returning the kiss. Warmth—not from fire, but from his affection—spread between them.
Chu~💜~Slurp~💜~Chu
When they finally pulled apart, her cheeks were tinted pink, and she gave a small, teasing smile. "So that's what a phoenix's kiss feels like?"
Aiden chuckled, brushing a strand of her hair aside. "Guess so. You didn't burn, so that's a good sign."
She crossed her arms, though her smile betrayed her amusement. "Next time, maybe warn me first, Flame Lord."
He laughed, eyes gleaming gold. "Where's the fun in that?"
Fenrir's ember-like fur glowed faintly under the moonlight as he padded closer, his molten eyes studying Aiden's new form. The Inferno Wolf gave a low, approving rumble. "Master… this body suits you well. A form worthy of your strength."
Aiden smiled, resting a hand on the wolf's head. "Thanks, buddy. Guess fire and slime mix better than I thought."
Fenrir gave a short huff that almost sounded like laughter.
A few minutes later, Ederra arrived, his heavy armor clanking faintly with every step. He stopped mid-stride, blinking as he took in the sight of Aiden — his hair now gleaming like threads of sunlight, golden eyes glowing faintly in the dark, the air around him radiating warmth and power.
In the background, Radomira moved among the captives, her expression soft but firm as she handed out Healing Potions. Emilia's soldiers worked beside her, gently freeing the battered women from their chains. The scent of potions and burned iron lingered in the camp, mixing with the faint hum of Aiden's new power.
Ederra crossed his arms, still staring at Aiden. "So… not only did you kill one of Volt's generals — and one of their stronger ones — but you absorbed his body… and made it yours?"
Aiden turned to him, a faint grin on his face. "Yup."
Ederra raised an eyebrow. "Can all slimes do that?"
Aiden chuckled. "Nope. Just me. I'm… a special case."
Ederra sighed, shaking his head. "You're terrifying, you know that?"
"Good," Aiden said with a smirk. "I intend to be."
Radomira approached then, her wings folding as she glanced at the golden-haired slime king. "You certainly look the part now," she said softly, her eyes glinting with pride. "The spark of a ruler… and the flame of something far more dangerous."
Aiden's grin softened. "Then let's use that danger for something good."
Radomira tilted her head. "Like what?"
He looked around — at the broken chains, the freed women, the smoldering ruins of the Volt camp. "Like giving every victim of Volt their justice. Their freedom."
Radomira smiled faintly, her tone low and knowing. "Then the Goddess of Night shall stand beside her King of Fire."
Back in the main camp, the night had settled into a strange calm — the crackle of campfires and the faint hum of newly forged Magi Steel filling the air.
Aiden walked in, his golden hair catching the firelight, the faint heat radiating from his body making the air shimmer around him.
Emilia turned the moment she saw him. Her eyes widened, and for a long second, she just stared — part shock, part disbelief, part exasperation.
Then she sighed, rubbing her temple. "I let you go to one battle…" she said slowly, "…and you come back as a human."
Aiden raised a brow, amused. "Technically half-human. Still a slime on the inside."
Emilia gave him a deadpan look. "That doesn't make it better."
Ederra smirked from nearby, leaning against a crate. "If it helps, Emilia, he also killed one of Volt's top generals and took his body. Efficient recycling, I'd say."
Emilia's jaw dropped slightly. "He what?"
Aiden gave a small shrug, smiling like it was no big deal. "What? He looked good, had great hair, and now I don't need to shapeshift into something less squishy every time someone swings a sword at me."
Radomira appeared beside him, still in her regal form, folding her arms. "You should be grateful. He looks even more handsome now."
Emilia pinched the bridge of her nose. "Great. The slime is becoming charming, the goddess is encouraging him, and my camp is slowly losing its sanity."
Aiden chuckled. "At least we're winning while going insane."
Emilia shot him a flat look but couldn't help a small smirk tugging at her lips. "You're impossible."
"And yet," Aiden said, giving her a mock bow, "irreplaceable."
