An hour had already passed since Keldo and Verdy had started working on the new armor. Alice, who had just finished preparing the meal, entered the workshop carrying a large, gleaming silver tray in her arms.
"Hey, guys! I brought you some sandwiches and smoothies!" Alice announced with a big smile.
"Oh, thanks, Alice!" Verdy replied, visibly delighted.
The tray gleamed beneath the workshop's white lights. Arranged on it were about fifteen sandwiches, neatly cut into triangles and filled with generous portions of juicy grilled sausages, slices of melted cheese, fresh tomatoes, and crisp lettuce. Beside them sat three large glasses of colorful smoothies: one pink strawberry-banana, one green kiwi-apple, and one orange mango-passion fruit. Each was topped with a striped straw and a thin slice of fresh fruit.
"Wow!! That's some high-tech armor!!" Alice exclaimed, her eyes widening at the sophisticated metallic structure floating slightly above the workbench.
