Lorelia hid a flash of impatience. Having only recently ascended to a demigod, her knowledge was limited. The more Kaelen asked, the less of an authority figure she seemed. Silence was her best defense.
"The master? Daddy is here too?" Kaelen gaped at her in disbelief.
"Heh, there's a lot you little ones don't know," Lorelia gloated. She loved watching them squirm.
She flew fast, touching down beneath the Wishing Tree in seconds.
Before Kaelen could find his footing, Orion stepped out from the trunk, manifesting like a streak of pure light.
