Kelsie pursed her lips. "Think about it. He's the face of the military in Lioren, so he has skills. Would it be entirely out of question if he suddenly emerges out of the house with Emily Hughes?"
"He wants to be seen as a hero by the people. Even if it doesn't make sense, all he has to do is feed them some untrue story about how he got in and they'd be lapping it up like dogs."
