Eva paused briefly, but the gleaming glow and cold sensation of the coins were too tempting to let go of even for a second.
Julian noticed she wouldn't budge him and pulled her hair back with a helpless smile, tugging at his lips. He moved, trying to drag her away from the chest.
"No! my moolah!" Eva cried with such anguish as if she were mourning a loved one. She flailed around, struggling in his embrace.
"It's not like you'll be using it anytime soon. Remember, there's nothing to buy here — no trading system. It's just a pile of shining stone," Julian explained, quickly placing the chest into his space ring with his free hand.
"But I would be able to enjoy the feeling of having a chest full of money, woo hoo༼;´༎ຶ ༎ຶ༽. Why did you have to crush my dreams by showing me reality?" Eva was saddened and angry at being reminded of reality. She watched her chest vanish into Julian's ring, and her struggle stopped.
