"You're so powerful, why can't you save my wife? Aren't you here to protect us while we build the stronghold?! Why are you being so selfish? Help save my wife!" the man yelled, trying to pull her hand—but Ethan's kick threw him back before he could touch her.
"As my wife said, we won't be saving anyone, but we can open a crack in the dome for you to save her yourself. Should I?" Ethan asked calmly, a flicker of disgust crossing his gaze as the man hesitated to answer.
"Your love for your wife is so strong, your concern moved us, so we won't stop you from going. Isn't this a good chance to save her before the storm hits?" Julian chimed in from the side, his tone sincere, but his eyes cold as he glanced at the man.
