Xavier didn't hesitate. His calloused hand slid beneath Alvin's waistband, fingers rough against fevered skin. Alvin gasped, arching off the bed as Xavier's grip tightened possessively.
Every touch burned away the lingering phantom pain, replacing terror with sharp, immediate sensation.
Xavier's mouth trailed down Alvin's throat, biting hard enough to bruise, brand against the nightmare's fading echoes. Alvin clawed at Xavier's shoulders, breath ragged. "Harder," he demanded, voice cracking. "Make me feel it."
Xavier obeyed with brutal precision. He shoved Alvin's thighs apart, settling between them. The friction of denim against bare skin drew a choked groan from Alvin.
