As more time passed, the community began to understand another important truth.

Systems that last a long time must also prepare for people who have never experienced serious problems.

New generations grew up in a stable environment. They had good schools, clean water, reliable energy, and a healthy environment. Because life was stable, many young people did not fully understand how fragile systems could be.

To address this, the education system added practical training exercises.

Students participated in simulations where they had to manage unexpected situations. Some exercises involved environmental problems such as sudden droughts or changes in weather patterns. Others focused on economic disruptions, technology failures, or supply shortages.

In these exercises, students had to collect information, debate options, and decide how to respond.

Sometimes their decisions worked well. Sometimes they created new problems.
