When Lucas crashed into the wall, the explosion shook the frozen sea itself, drawing every eye to the epicenter.
Aokiji moved first, his calm demeanor unshaken. "Ice Age." His hand swept forward, and a surge of frost enveloped Lucas, locking him in a massive block of ice. The explosion's force diminished, muffled beneath the frozen prison.
For a heartbeat, silence reigned. Then the ice cracked. Shards splintered outward, and a deafening roar tore through the battlefield. Lucas emerged, his body shifting into the towering form of Humungousaur, scales glistening under the pale light. His roar reverberated across the frozen ocean, shaking the battlefield like a quake.
"What the hell is that thing!?" a Marine shouted, stumbling back in terror.
"Another monster!? First Whitebeard, now this!" a pirate cried, clutching his weapon.
"Is that… some kind of Devil Fruit power?" another Marine muttered, sweat dripping down his face.
"He was a flaming ball just moments ago!" a pirate gasped, voice trembling.
"This war's turning into a nightmare!" a Marine officer yelled, gripping his sword tighter.
Aokiji's eyes narrowed, his breath misting in the cold. "So… you can change into a plethora forms. Interesting. I thought you were just another reckless brute, but you're something else entirely."
From the execution platform, Sengoku's jaw tightened. "Another anomaly… a man who can turn into different monsters? This is starting to spiral out of control."
At Sabaody Archipelago, reporters watching the monitors nearly fell out of their chairs. "What is this!? He's transforming into different creatures! Is this some new Devil Fruit we've never seen before?" The crowd murmured in awe and fear, their voices trembling as they realized the scale of the battle unfolding.
Lucas swung a massive right fist at Aokiji, the impact shaking the air. But before it connected, Sakazuki lunged in, magma fist blazing. "Don't think you can run wild here!"
Lucas shifted mid-motion into Big Chill, phasing through the magma strike, his ghostly form chilling the air. Steam hissed as magma met frost, covering the entire battlefield in a cloak of mist.
Kizaru appeared in a flash of golden light, his voice lazy but sharp. "Ooh… so you're the one who embarrassed us at Sabaody. Can't let that happen again." He raised his hand, beams of light forming. "Yasakani no Magatama!" A storm of laser-like projectiles rained down.
Lucas twisted, shifting into XLR8, darting across the ice at blinding speed, dodging beams as they shattered the frozen battlefield. He skidded to a halt, shifting again into a fusion of Fourarms and Gravattack, slamming his fists into the ground. Gravity waves rippled outward, cracking the ice and forcing the three Admirals to brace themselves.
The three Admirals moved in unison, their coordination razor-sharp. Aokiji froze the ground, trying to lock Lucas's feet in place. Akainu hurled magma fists, each strike raining down and exploding like volcanic eruptions. Kizaru zipped around with light-speed kicks, beams slicing through the air as he fired another round of beams from Lucas' behind.
Lucas countered with fluid another transformation: This time a fusion of Swampfire and Shock Rock, vines lashing out to block magma fists while Kizaru's beams simply passed through his body.
Aokiji closed in as he made an ice sword which resulted in a loud clang as Lucas shifted into Diamondhead, crystalline armor deflecting ice weapon.
The battlefield became chaos—ice cracking, magma boiling, beams of light carving through the air. Pirates and Marines alike were forced to retreat from the shockwaves.
Every clash sent shockwaves across Marineford, shaking the execution platform and rattling the chains binding Ace.
While Lucas held the Admirals at bay: Squard's betrayal unfolded like a dagger in the heart of Whitebeard's fleet. When Squard's blade pierced Whitebeard, the shock rippled through his crew, disbelief painted across their faces. The man they revered as a father figure, the one who had carried them through countless storms, had been struck down by one of their own. Murmurs of confusion and anger spread across the battlefield, the clash of steel momentarily drowned out by the cries of Whitebeard's sons. Whitebeard himself, though wounded, stood tall, his immense presence refusing to falter. His voice thundered across the ice, silencing the chaos, reminding his crew of their purpose: Ace's rescue.
Amidst this chaos, Inazuma emerged, his scissors slicing through the ground to make a clear path for Luffy. Seeing the path and Inazuma crying out to Luffy telling him to follow the path he'd just made, Luffy charged forward. His fists clenched, his heart pounding, he struck Garp aside—not out of hatred, but out of necessity. Finally, Luffy reached Ace, unlocking the seastone shackles that bound him. Relief and joy surged through the pirates, but Sengoku, unwilling to let this victory stand, transformed into his colossal Buddha form. His golden fist descended, only to be met by Ace's flames as he shielded his brother.
Back on the battlefield, Lucas stood firm, cycling through alien forms, keeping Akainu, Aokiji, and Kizaru locked in combat.
The Admirals pressed harder, their combined might shaking the ice. But Lucas refused to fall, each transformation pushing them back, each fusion unleashing new chaos.
As Luffy freed Ace, the war reached its boiling point. Sengoku's golden Buddha loomed, Whitebeard's roar echoed, and Lucas's clash with the Admirals tore Marineford apart.
