The skyline was alive.
Kaede leapt as her slender body sliced clean through the cold air like a blade. The ends of her pink hair whipped behind her as her geta landed sharply on the next rooftop. The instant she touched down, she was already sprinting across the long metal wing of the skyscraper.
It was like watching a modern day shinobi.
Trickshot casually cracked his neck and pressed a button on his jacket.

The metallic spine along his back split open to rearrange into a sleek, compact jetpack.
King Cobra didn't even look up.
He just flipped another page of his massive book.
"Don't break the glass roof again…"
Trickshot grinned like a child about to light a firecracker.
"No promises, big guy."
He slammed his goggles down.
"Time to party."
The jetpack flared to life, kicking him off the ledge and into the air with a thunderous FWOOOSH!
Below, Nightwatch was already swinging toward him.
Trickshot's grin widened.
"Well, look who's late to his own funeral."
