I guess your wondering who those 2 kids were in the first chapter? Well the older brothers name is Tora kawajiri and the younger sister is named Mira kawajiri. Tora is about 11 years old while Mira is 9 years old. I should also mention their appearance as well, Tora(currently) stands at 5'7 while Mira stands at 5'1. they are both slightly dark in complexion. Tora has blue eyes and black hair while Mira has brown hair and blue eyes. Now that we got that out of the way lets carry on with the story shall we?
The kids were found by some wandering police officers and were sent to the Orphanage. 2 years later, Tora and Mira were playing with a ball outside when an explosion could be heard inside the orphanage. Kids and adults running outside all bruised and battered, they both try to run away when Tora hears his sister scream out to him. "BIG BROTHER HELP!" Mira screams as she gets pulled away by some invisible entity. Tora just stands there frozen in utter despair and fear as he watches his last remaining family member get taken away from him. "TORA-" were her last words before she got eaten by the entity and her blood spilling over him.
Tora tries to run but his legs wont listen as he stands there in pure fear. Just then Tora sees a man with a sword in hand running towards him. As Tora tries to squint to see the man clearly he sees the invisible entity instead, a monster with 4 claws, 2 mouths, one dripping blood and one growling at him and 4 sets of wings the size of cars. The monster lunges at Tora, cutting him deep on his chest and his right cheek. Tora looks down at his chest speechless, blood gushing out. As he looks back at the monster in front of him, closing his eyes as the monster swipes its claws at him, he hears the monster roar and then a loud thud. He opens his eyes to see the man standing in front of him, cigarette in one hand and sword drawn in the other. "Well shit kid, guess its your lucky day!" The man smiles back at him. Tora barely got a good look at his fat before he fell over from the loss of blood.
