Everyone stopped what they were doing.
The villagers carrying buckets turned toward Bok. The men handling the pigs stared. Even the chickens in the nearby cages began making more noise after being startled by his cry.
Garr's expression darkened.
"What ghost?"
Bok staggered backwards and pointed at the floating panel.
"That!"
Everyone followed the direction of his finger.
There was nothing there from their perspective.
One of the temporary workers looked toward the wall behind the panel.
"A hook?"
"No!" Bok said. "The blue thing!"
"What blue thing?"
"The words!"
The workshop fell silent.
Garr stared at him for several seconds before reaching out and waving one thick hand through the panel.
His hand passed through it without resistance.
Bok flinched, but the panel did not react.
"There's nothing here," Garr said.
"There is! It says I killed a pig and received four experience!"
Several of the workers exchanged looks.
Someone near the entrance began laughing.
