Claude stiffened.
Behind him, Jade had somehow forced himself out of bed. His complexion was pale. Sweat soaked through his clothes. And even standing appeared difficult for him. Yet his grip on Claude's wrist did not loosen.
"...Don't go…" His voice came out barely above a whisper.
Claude slowly turned around. His gaze landed on Jade's body. Just thinking that moments ago, someone else was touching that body filled him with so much rage. His jaw clenched. His gaze then moved up, shifting to Jade's face.
The fury in his eyes faltered the moment he saw his face. His hardened face softened after seeing him struggle to stand properly. He now understood why Kenneth forbade him and Eros from following Jade.
It was because Kenneth knew from the start. But why did Jade keep it from him? Did he prefer Eros instead?
