Wen Yun wasn't sure how busy Meng Yanzhi usually was, but she often heard from Grandpa Meng that Meng Yanzhi went on business trips every now and then.
Especially since she hadn't seen him for half a year before.
Even though she didn't have much vacation, her schedule often rotated shifts, so she was relatively more at ease than the busy Meng Yanzhi.
"I have time."
Yanzhi responded quickly, as he had dealt with most of the things at the company, and he expected to be home for a long period next.
Wen Yun raised an eyebrow but didn't say much more. Before they even got home, she said, "Um, can you drop me off here?"
"Hm?"
Yanzhi questioned with his eyes.
Wen Yun cleared her throat and said, "I didn't buy groceries this morning, so I might as well buy some now to cook at home."
Ten minutes later, Yanzhi followed Wen Yun into the supermarket, watching her pick and choose expertly among the fruits and vegetables, opening up a new perspective on her entirely for Yanzhi.
