Chapter 654 - Chapter 654: Hostile Souichu and a Trap for Ayana

As Takasaki Souichi continued activating his telekinesis while muttering, Matsuura Anju still did not come over to him as he had imagined.

Instead, she pressed herself even closer to Hikari, and her every movement with him became more intimate.

Matsuura Anju had obviously never said she liked him, nor did they have any special relationship beyond that of teacher and student.

But seeing Matsuura Anju's delicate body pressed tightly against Hikari, her cheeks flushed red, Takasaki Souichi still felt, for some reason, like he had been cheated on.

"Damn it! Damn it! You should all just die!"

After trying several times and finding that he couldn't pull Matsuura Anju away from Hikari and back to his side, Takasaki Souichi finally gave up.

But now that he had become hysterical, he decided to take revenge on both Hikari and Matsuura Anju at the same time.

At Matsuura Anju's request, Hikari was now escorting her away.

Watching the two of them walk off, Takasaki Souichi directly used his telekinesis to move a loose branch from a fruit tree by the roadside, intending to smash it hard onto Hikari and Matsuura Anju.

But just as the branch fell from the air and was about to hit the two of them on the head, a strange gust of wind suddenly swept through.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

It blew the branch, as thick as a fist, toward Takasaki Souichi instead.

Before he could react, the branch slammed into his face.

"AHHHH!"

A long red swelled line appeared across Takasaki Souichi's face from the blow, and he couldn't help crying out in pain.

Although the hit left him dizzy, he still refused to give up.

His hatred toward Hikari and Matsuura Anju made him endure the pain and once again use his telekinesis to control a sharp stone fragment on the ground, sending it flying hard toward Hikari's back.

But to Takasaki Souichi's disbelief, while the stone was flying toward Hikari's back, another sudden gust of wind blew past.

The stone immediately turned around again and smashed into Takasaki Souichi's forehead.

"AHHH!"

This stone was harder and sharper than the branch from before.

So the pain it caused was much worse.

Knocked to the ground, Takasaki Souichi rolled around in agony.

The hand covering his forehead was soon covered in blood.

The intense pain left him unable to think about taking revenge on Hikari anymore.

All he could do was keep crying out.

After an unknown amount of time, Takasaki Souichi finally struggled to his feet.

His face was covered in blood now, with a glaring red swell and many cuts. He looked utterly miserable.

Thinking back on what had just happened, Takasaki Souichi gasped for breath.

Although he had only awakened his psychic powers today, he felt he hadn't been this miserable in a very long time.

After awakening his powers, he had thought he could do anything he wanted.

Yet today, everything had gone wrong one after another.

First, he had failed when he tried to make a move on Takasaki Aika in the cafeteria.

Then, when he tried to make a move on the beautiful teacher Matsuura Anju, Hikari had stopped him.

Even when he tried to use telekinesis to get revenge on Hikari, he only ended up hurting himself.

"How is that guy's luck so good?"

Takasaki Souichi clenched his fists in anger, unwilling to accept why Hikari's luck was so good.

If he had arrived just a little later, Takasaki Souichi could have completed his hero-saving-the-beauty act and rescued Matsuura Anju.

Instead, Hikari had snatched the opportunity away and nearly gotten him killed.

After that, when he tried to use telekinesis to get revenge on Hikari, accidents kept happening.

Hikari escaped completely unharmed, while he himself ended up covered in injuries.

"Wait... could it be..."

Looking back, nearly every failed plan of his had involved Hikari.

Although Takasaki Souichi kept denying the possibility in his mind and didn't want to admit it, he still had to face it.

That was...

"Could it be that it isn't because he's lucky, but because he has some kind of ability too?"

"Or is he like the protagonists in those manga, surrounded by some kind of luck aura?"

Holding his head, Takasaki Souichi couldn't make sense of it no matter how much he thought.

After all, in his mind, he was supposed to be the special one, the only one with awakened powers.

'Isn't Hikari just an ordinary pretty boy?'

How could he possibly be compared with the conqueror Takasaki Souichi?

So despite suffering setback after setback, Takasaki Souichi still didn't think Hikari was stronger than him.

But the fact remained before him, whenever he ran into Hikari, that guy's luck was monstrous, and no matter what he did, he couldn't beat him.

So, for the time being, Takasaki Souichi gave up the idea of chasing after Hikari for more revenge.

Deep down, he had already decided that in the future, he should avoid him whenever possible.

Even if it was only bad luck, he hated this feeling of helplessness.

He had awakened psychic powers. He was supposed to be an all-powerful conqueror.

"Hmph! I'll leave that bitch alone for now. Once Hikari isn't around, there'll be plenty of chances to make a move!."

"And there are plenty of other targets. I can start with them first!"

Wiping the blood from his face with his sleeve, Takasaki Souichi limped toward the school building.

Just as he was about to go back inside and find a restroom to wash the blood from his face, someone suddenly called out to him.

"Hm? Souichi-kun?"

Hearing the clear voice of a girl, Takasaki Souichi turned around.

A pretty, adorable girl with pink twin-tails was looking at him.

Instinctively covering his battered face, Takasaki Souichi said, "Ayana-san? What is it?"

Kurasawa Ayana stepped closer and got a clear look at Takasaki Souichi's miserable, bloodied appearance.

Kind and warmhearted, she immediately asked with concern, "Takasaki-kun, what happened to you? Are you hurt?"

Faced with Kurasawa Ayana's concerned gaze, Takasaki Souichi instead felt embarrassed and irritated.

Because he had psychic powers. He was the ruler of the campus, not someone who was isolated, bullied, helpless, and needed other people's concern.

So in his eyes, Kurasawa Ayana's concern was an insult.

He immediately replied in a cold, stiff voice, "I'm fine. It's none of your business!"

Although he was hostile to her, after a brief moment of awkwardness, the kind-hearted Kurasawa Ayana still couldn't help saying, "Souichi-kun, you don't look well. How about I take you to the infirmary?"

"I said it's none of your business! I don't need it! Got it?"

Takasaki Souichi even shouted at her.

"I... alright."

Faced with Takasaki Souichi's attitude, Kurasawa Ayana couldn't really say anything more.

Looking at Kurasawa Ayana's warmhearted nature and her pretty, lovely face, Takasaki Souichi suddenly thought of something.

His attitude softened, and he suddenly said to her in a gentler tone, "Ayana-san, there's something I want to tell you. Could you come to the multimedia classroom on the fourth floor after class?"

"Huh?"

Kurasawa Ayana was briefly surprised by the sudden invitation, but seeing how pitiful and serious he looked, she couldn't bear to refuse and nodded.

"Okay."

After that, Kurasawa Ayana stopped insisting that he go to the infirmary and left first.

Watching Kurasawa Ayana's graceful figure as she walked away, her fair legs beneath her JK skirt, and her breasts, which weren't as full as Matsuura Anju's but were still fuller than those of girls her age, Takasaki Souichi swallowed.

"Hmph! You're always acting so kind and eager to help me. Today I'll see whether your body is really as pure as you pretend it is."

Like Takasaki Aika and Matsuura Anju, Kurasawa Ayana had originally been one of the targets Takasaki Souichi planned to conquer after awakening his psychic powers.

Just now, he had even thought about using his powers to drag Kurasawa Ayana into the restroom and achieve his goal directly.

But thinking about how his previous plans had all failed, this time he decided to be more careful.

After school, he would make his move on Kurasawa Ayana.

After roughly settling on his plan, Takasaki Souichi quickly left.

Meanwhile, after Hikari carried Matsuura Anju away from behind the school building, they left Takasaki Souichi's line of sight and were about to return to the school building.

Only then did Matsuura Anju realize that the way she was clinging tightly to Hikari with all four limbs wasn't very appropriate.

Before any other students saw them, she quickly said, "H-Hikari-kun, could you put me down? I'm not that scared anymore."

"Okay."

Hikari agreed and released the hands that had been supporting her round, millstone-like buttocks.

"Hikari-kun, why haven't you put me down yet?"

After several seconds, Matsuura Anju couldn't help asking.

"Matsuura-sensei, I've already let go. You're the one still holding onto me," Hikari reminded her.

"Ah... I-Is that so? I'm sorry!"

Only after hearing Hikari's words did Matsuura Anju come to her senses.

Her arms were indeed still wrapped around Hikari's neck, and her legs were still around his waist.

She really was still hanging onto him like a koala.

But, to be fair, it wasn't entirely Matsuura Anju's fault.
