Chapter 798: The Sacrificial Demon Fist vs. the Heaven-Reaching Divine Force

"Divine Fist Technique?!"

Every gaze present flared with sudden heat, countless powerful beings locking fiery eyes onto Mo Yu.

A Divine Technique—such things were rarer than sacred artifacts themselves. Even among ancient clans, only those with extraordinary merit could hope to learn one, often granted only to the most venerable elders.

And now, before their eyes, a mere human—barely a half-step eighth-rank Supreme—was wielding one.

Jealousy burned like wildfire.

"Divine Fist Technique…?"

Blood Ming, who moments ago had been inwardly cursing Mo Yu's inevitable downfall, froze as shock twisted his features. The smug malice drained from his expression, replaced by stark disbelief and something uglier—envy.

His Blood Sky Jiao Clan possessed divine arts, yes, but they lay sealed in the domain of the ancient elders. Even he, despite his talent, had never been granted such knowledge.

But this human—this Mo Yu—had not only acquired one, he'd mastered it enough to wield it in battle.

"Damn him!" Blood Ming gnashed his teeth, his mind racing. "So when he fought me, he wasn't even using full strength…"

Realization struck like a blade to his pride. No wonder he had fallen so utterly. Mo Yu's true power eclipsed him completely.

He swallowed his bitterness, eyes darting back to the duel overhead. "Even if it's a divine art," he muttered through clenched teeth, "he can't truly have mastered it with such weak cultivation. He'll crumble soon…"

Across the battlefield, Hou Jun's eyes burned with fighting spirit as he beheld Mo Yu's awakening aura.

"So, it really is a Divine Technique," the ape warrior murmured, baring sharp teeth in a wild grin. "It seems I didn't misjudge you. Good! Let's see which stands taller—my Heaven-Reaching Divine Force, or your so-called Divine Fist!"

His laughter rolled like thunder.

"Haha! You haven't disappointed me, Mo Yu! Come—let's fight until our blood sings!"

Power erupted from Hou Jun's towering body. Red energy surged around him like wild flame, dyeing the sky crimson. The scattering pressure made even half-step ninth-rank Supremes tremble.

His body twisted, reshaping into something primal, more beast than man.

"His transformation—he's activating the Heaven-Reaching Divine Force!" someone gasped from the side.

The ground below erupted with alarmed voices. They all knew the legends. The Heaven-Reaching Ape Clan's ultimate gift was their divine transformation—a berserker state that traded sanity for absolute might.

It was said that once, a high-tier Earth Supreme from the Ape Clan had used this ability to drag another Earth Supreme at peak strength into mutual destruction.

From that day on, all of creation learned one rule: never enrage a Heaven-Reaching Ape.

Blood Ming, watching the spectacle, sneered with venomous delight. "So he's gone and awakened that power… Good. Let's see how long you last, Mo Yu. When you fall, I'll be waiting to finish you off myself."

Boom!

The air screeched. The ape's crimson aura burst like a volcano. He raised his weapon—a massive stone staff radiating divine might, glowing red-hot with power. Its mere presence shook the world.

"That staff—it's also a quasi-saint weapon," whispered one of the observers.

Infused with the Heaven-Reaching Divine Force, it became a conduit for devastation. Spiraling waves of energy coalesced, forming immense mirages of blood-red staff shadows hundreds of feet wide.

"Heaven-Reaching Divine Force—The Great Demon Ape Staff!"

Hou Jun's roar rumbled through the clouds. The moment he swung, thousands of flaming ripples shredded the sky, and air itself screamed under the pressure.

The immense phantom staff descended like judgment incarnate, splitting the heavens, crashing toward Mo Yu with unstoppable momentum.

Even a ninth-rank Supreme would have turned to flee.

The staff shadow grew vast in Mo Yu's pupils, burning like a descending sun.

He didn't move at first—only exhaled slowly. His black pupils darkened to blood-red, his muscles growing taut with barely restrained power. Around him, scarlet energy spiraled wildly, thick with the scent of slaughter.

Then, his fingers clenched into a fist.

A faint tremor rippled through the air, followed by a low rumble—as if the world itself had inhaled with him.

The blood-red energy converged onto his arm, his radiant Sky-Shaking Divine Arm, pulsing with terrifying momentum.

"Sky-Shaking Arm—Sacrificial Demon Fist!"

The world turned scarlet.

Every ounce of Mo Yu's life force poured into that punch. The air erupted as a massive blood-colored fist shadow rose, pulsing with desperate, unstoppable intent.

It was not just a strike—it was a declaration. This punch could kill gods, shatter fate, or burn with him together.

He would live—or both would die.

The crowd froze in terror. That surge of raw killing will stripped breath from lungs, paralyzing hearts. Even veterans of the great beast clans flinched, their battle spirit quaking before the sheer madness of it.

Those of weaker mind would have collapsed entirely under its pressure.

Above, Hou Jun felt a spike of ice at his core as that killing intent pressed into his soul. For the briefest heartbeat, his emotions flickered—fear—but then came exhilaration.

"Magnificent! Then die with me in glory!"

Roaring, he swung downward.

The giant staff and blood-red fist collided like colliding worlds.

Boom!

The explosion shattered the heavens.

Crimson light devoured the sky as shockwaves erupted in every direction. The altar quaked violently, runes shimmering to contain the destruction. Even so, the force rippled outward, knocking nearby experts off their feet and driving blood from their lips.

No one cared for their wounds. All gazes were locked upon the center of the storm, where time itself seemed to warp. The collision's epicenter glowed white-hot, so bright that even divine sight could not pierce it.

Blood Ming's fists clenched, his lips bloodless. "No… impossible. There's no way he can block Hou Jun's Divine Force…"

But the moment of triumph never came.

Inside the storm, neither power yielded.

Mo Yu's Sacrificial Demon Fist and Hou Jun's Heaven-Reaching Staff ground against each other in perfect balance, raw destruction trembling between them.

Even the gathered Heaven-Reaching Ape prodigies paled. Their clan's fiercest talent—a genuine ninth-rank Supreme—was being held in a stalemate… by a human half his level.

The impossible was unfolding before their eyes.

Mo Yu's teeth clenched. Blood ran from his knuckles down his arm, his skin splitting under the immense backlash. Still, he refused to falter. His breathing came ragged, but his eyes burned with blood-red light—unbending, unyielding.

"I can't lose…" he muttered, voice low but steady.

His gaze flicked toward the Primordial Ape statue standing behind them, towering and proud. That power—it was the key. The bridge beyond his body's mortal limits. He would not leave it behind.

His eyes flashed, and killing intent surged once more. "Break!"

The blood energy around him ignited, forming a vortex of endless scarlet flame. The fist shadow surged forward violently, expanding with unimaginable energy.

Hou Jun saw it and bellowed with manic joy. "Good! Then let's end it!"

The berserk ape's body expanded even further, muscles swelling as he swung again, the sky splitting at the movement.

Black-red waves roared outward.

Staff and fist crashed together once more.

The ground vanished. The air screamed. The altar's runes glowed to their limit. Reality trembled.

Half the sky turned into a vortex of compressed destruction.

Even the strongest of the gathered prodigies swallowed hard in terror. None of them could withstand a single ripple of that clash.

And still, in that violent chaos, the two powers refused to yield—until—

Boom!

A blinding flash erupted as the world itself shattered. Two storms of energy burst apart simultaneously, devouring everything in their path.

Gasps erupted below as some of the shock slipped past the altar's barrier, hurling several observers back hundreds of meters, blood spraying from their mouths.

When the light dimmed—

Both figures had been thrown violently across the altar, slamming into the far edges amid falling debris.

The world fell silent.

Every gaze stared wide-eyed at the sight—two warriors, both unmoving, bloodied, their auras flickering but intact.

Hou Jun, heir of the Heaven-Reaching Apes—a ninth-rank Supreme—had not defeated him.

Mo Yu had met his might head-on.

Total silence lingered for long moments before whispers spread like wildfire.

"They… drew?"

"One's a ninth-rank Supreme—how can that be?"

Blood Ming stood frozen, his triumphant smirk turned to ash, his face gray beneath the crimson stains.

He could deny it no longer. The man he'd mocked had become an existence beyond his reach.

And as the crowd slowly processed what they'd seen, a different light flickered in many eyes—ambition. Two tigers had wounded each other.

Perhaps, just perhaps… someone else could seize this moment.
