"Well, hello there," she purred, her voice like honey. "I haven't seen you before. Fresh meat in our little paradise?"
She circled him slowly.
"My, my, you're quite something, aren't you?" She trailed one finger along his shoulder as she moved behind him. "Strong build, good height, handsome face, and those eyes..." She came back around to face him, standing close enough that he could smell the scent of her body. "You could make a fortune working with us instead of being a customer."
Julian smiled slightly. "I'm flattered, but I'm not looking for a job."
"Pity," she said, her lips curving into a smile. "But if you're looking for pleasure instead, you've come to the right place. And more specifically—" she gestured to the large building behind her—"you've found the right guide."
The building she gestured to was impressive—three stories tall and well-maintained. Above the entrance hung a sign depicting a golden rose and the name "The Gilded Rose" in an elegant font.
