Chapter 517 - Yaxley Family

Fenrir was sent flying like a cannonball, crashing hard against a stone wall at the far end of the room.

Thunderbird didn't stop there.

He pointed his hand at the spot where Fenrir hit the wall, and from the stone, massive hands made of rock erupted, grabbing Fenrir tightly and pinning him to the wall.

Without wasting a moment, Thunderbird turned his attention to the remaining werewolves charging at him.

With a sharp slap of his hand, he struck the chin of the lead werewolf, sending him flying backward into the others.

The volley of slaps that followed sent several werewolves hurtling across the room, smashing through wooden furniture and finally crashing into the walls with loud thuds.

Some unlucky ones even struck other people who hadn't reacted in time, knocking them out cold.

Thunderbird's palm strikes, empowered by his magic, were solid and powerful, causing every werewolf who landed to feel sharp pain throughout their bodies.

Leaving them unable to stand.

Within moments, the entire room was in chaos, filled with the sounds of crashing and painful groans from those who had been thrown around.

And through it all, standing firm and unscathed, Thunderbird faced the empty space where Fenrir once stood, now trapped and immobilized against the wall.

Watching this shocking scene, the wizard who had been hiding nearby suddenly felt a chill run down his spine.

'What was with that silver wand gun?'

'Who would be crazy enough to attack an employee the moment they met their employer?'

'And that guy's strength - it was way beyond normal!'

'Do regular binding spells really pack this much power?'

'Plus, he was so reckless, not even caring that others were watching.'

Thunderbird sneered, glaring at the werewolves in front of him with clear disdain.

"Beasts will always be beasts. You can't even read the simplest situation. Didn't anyone teach you? A worthless person should at least know their place. Charging at someone stronger only makes you look foolish. You clearly don't understand your limits."

Then, turning his attention to the watching wizard, Thunderbird asked sharply,

"Your name?"

The wizard blinked, caught off guard for a moment, but quickly regained his composure.

He stepped forward cautiously and said,

"Me? I'm Otis Yaxley, leader of these wizards. were not on the same side as those werewolves."

Noticing the commanding presence of the new Silver Wand before him, Otis immediately distanced himself from the werewolves.

He had no desire to end up like Fenrir.

Just then, Augurey who had been standing behind Thunderbird stepped forward as well.

"Otis is from the 28 pure-blood Yaxley families in the UK. For some reason, he's been active in Northern Europe lately. He and the wizards under him have a pretty good reputation."

Augurey had been watching quietly from the sidelines, well aware of Thunderbird's fiery temper.

She knew better than to try and intervene when he was angry - it would be like courting death.

So, she waited patiently until Thunderbird was done dealing with those werewolves before stepping in to tidy up.

She had handled situations like this before.

As for the werewolves, Augurey wasn't too concerned.

Their standing in the wizarding world was weak, and although they were tough to control, Thunderbird's blow was probably just what they needed.

"I know all about it," Thunderbird said with a playful glance at Otis.

"The British Death Eaters were kicked out by the Ministry of Magic after their failed rebellion. I also heard your boss was killed by a child? That's pretty humiliating."

Otis's cheeks twitched in frustration as he stared at the silver wand.

A wave of anger rose inside him. Did this guy even speak like a human?

If Otis didn't realize he couldn't win, he might have challenged Thunderbird right then and there.

He had no idea what was wrong with the man in front of him.

His words were so disrespectful, it was as if he didn't take anyone seriously.

Otis finally managed to suppress the anger churning in his stomach and spoke through a stiff expression.

"I won't bother you about our Death Eaters, but we have to work together moving forward. You always come out and immediately mess up the situation. Is that really appropriate?"

Thunderbird shrugged indifferently, lifting his chin.

"It's just a bunch of nonsense. With the terms we've proposed, are you really afraid we won't be able to recruit anyone? We came to you because we followed Diricawl's advice. If you don't want to do this, then just leave."

Otis couldn't help but lose his temper after being hit with Thunderbird's blunt words.

He knew deep down that what the other was saying was true.

When Augurey found them, the offer on the table was very tempting.

They usually worked for six months at a time.

Before they arrived, they had already heard about the silver wand work, mainly involving smuggling magical creatures.

Smuggling in Northern Europe, especially with the silver wand, was risky, but the rewards were significant.

The Silver Wand's main concerns were the Ministry of Magic and the Pure Land Society in Northern Europe, so finding locals was impossible.

Even so, wizards from other places were willing to accept their terms.

The recruits were scattered, but just as organized as the Death Eaters and werewolves.

"Master!" Augurey interrupted after Thunderbird finished berating Otis.

"What should we do about these werewolves? Should we keep hiring them, or just kick them out?"

"The werewolf leader should have come to his senses by now. Go and talk to them, see what they want. If they don't want to continue, let them go. Losing a few isn't a big deal," Thunderbird replied coolly.

He twitched his chin toward the opposite wall, then leisurely walked to the restaurant next door, turning his back on Augurey and the others.

"When they've thought it over, bring someone to see me. And don't come back with any nonsense. You moth."

"Yes, Master!" Augurey responded respectfully.

In the club, she was the only one who dared maintain such an attitude toward Thunderbird, and one of the few Silver Wands who didn't respond with sarcasm.

After watching Thunderbird leave the inner hall, Otis frowned and walked over to Augurey.

In a low voice, he asked,

"What's wrong with your boss? Why's his temper so bad? It feels like everyone owes him money or something."

"Sorry, Mr. Yaxley. Master Thunderbird's always been straightforward, you're just not used to it yet. But have you seen how strong he is? Yes, he's here, and this mission isn't as dangerous as you think," Augurey apologized.

Otis pursed his lips, staying quiet.

Maybe the job itself wasn't that risky, but the process didn't seem so simple either.
