"J-Jirachi?!"

Kalia's eyes widened, her red lips forming an 'O' shape in surprise.

Quickly regaining her composure, Kalia realized that Linden might not be familiar with Jirachi's appearance and could have mistaken it for something else.

Having seen illustrations of Jirachi in an ancient book, she knew she could confirm by asking for a description from Linden.

"What did the Jirachi you saw look like? Please describe it to me," Kalia calmly inquired.

However, internally, she remained skeptical. Since Linden had no prior knowledge of Jirachi's appearance, it was possible he simply mistook an unfamiliar sleeping Pokemon.

Initially excited, Linden managed to compose himself and swiftly responded, "It was star-shaped, asleep, with a yellow head - very cute. There were three sticky notes on its forehead."

As Linden described the Pokemon, Kalia repeated his words silently, listening attentively. Once he finished, she recited the description again aloud.

Recalling the content from the book she had read, while many details eluded her memory, one stood out clearly: the presence of three sticky notes on Jirachi's forehead. This distinctive feature is well-known among Jirachi sightings.

Kalia's doubts vanished; that Pokemon was most likely Jirachi. If true, it became crucial for her to witness it firsthand.

Moments later,

"Ahh!"

With a startled cry, Linden found herself lifted again by Lian, while Kalia sat on his back. Together, they soared towards the mountain peak from earlier.

The wind howled fiercely as Kalia, filled with anticipation, gazed at the distant mountains. Could Jirachi truly exist there? And if so, how does one make a wish?

Everyone harbors desires they wish to fulfill, and Kalia was no exception. Her deepest hope was to revive her father, though she knew it remained just a fantasy.

But could Jirachi possibly grant such a wish? Kalia wasn't sure, nor did she dare hold high expectations.

As for tasks like becoming the League Champion, she preferred accomplishing them through her own abilities rather than relying on wishes, which seemed too unrealistic.

Shaking her head, Kalia dismissed these thoughts. Worrying now served no purpose, especially when she didn't even know how to awaken Jirachi.

Lian also had some interest in Jirachi, knowing its awakening conditions and methods of wishing. However, he wondered if Jirachi genuinely had the power to fulfill any wish whatsoever.

Lian suspected that returning to Earth would likely exceed Jirachi's capability, leaving him with no significant wishes at present.

Following Kalia meant having food and shelter, ample time for rest, while steadily enhancing his strength through the system. Eventually, he could become the strongest Pokemon in this world, making such a life truly ideal.

Upon reflection, Lian genuinely had no specific desires; everything was just as perfect as it should be, needing no further changes.

"We're here, right over there."

Linden was most excited, as this marked the first discovery of its kind for him. Without his keen observation, they might not have found it.

Lian flew to the mountaintop, with Linden landing first, followed by himself touching down gently. Once stable, Kalia dismounted from his back.

Eagerly, Linden rushed towards where Jirachi lay asleep, surrounded by stone walls except for a single damaged opening.

Kalia joined them quickly, noticing the gap and curiously following Linden inside.

On a stone slab, Jirachi rested peacefully, its headpiece fluttering softly, creating a serene scene.

If not for the breach, nobody would have known about the legendary Pokemon Jirachi hidden within.

"It really is Jirachi."

Kalia's doubts vanished completely as she gazed upon the adorable Pokemon before her, matching perfectly with the descriptions from books-this was indeed Jirachi, the legendary wish-granting Pokemon.

"Now what? Should we wake it up?" Linden, feeling excited yet cautious, observed Jirachi closely, circling around it continuously.

"Waking Jirachi likely requires specific conditions, but I'm not sure how to proceed." Kalia shook her head; neither did she nor any book provide clear guidance on awakening Jirachi.

"What should we do then? Without waking it, we can't make wishes. Maybe I'll give it a try," suggested Linden, reaching out to touch Jirachi. However, he was instantly repelled by a burst of Psychic energy and sent flying.

Bang!

Linden crashed directly into a wall.

Jirachi, being a Psychic-type Pokemon, even in its dormant state, is not easily disturbed by ordinary means.

"It's no use. Even asleep, Jirachi possesses immense power and cannot be forcibly awakened that easily," Kalia lamented, though it was too late to stop him. Nonetheless, learning through experience might be beneficial for Linden.

"So, we won't be able to awaken Jirachi at all?" Linden expressed disappointment, relieved that the repelling force wasn't stronger, leaving only a slight pain in his back after hitting the wall.

"Let's repair the stone wall and allow Jirachi to continue its peaceful slumber," Kalia suggested. Since they couldn't make wishes, it was best to let Jirachi sleep undisturbed, preventing others from potentially bothering it.

"Alright, fine." Linden reluctantly agreed, realizing there was no way to awaken Jirachi regardless of his efforts.

The duo promptly got to work, directing their Pokémon to move rocks and prepare for sealing the gap.

"Linden?"

At that moment, a surprised voice echoed nearby.

Linden looked up and spotted his cousin, Link, riding on a Swanna, hovering in the air with Ellie region Trainer Lester alongside him.

"What are you two doing?" Link and Lester descended to the ground, curiosity evident on their faces as they gazed at Linden and Kalia, expressions filled with confusion.

"Cousin, we found Jirachi!" Linden exclaimed excitedly. "Come take a look."

"Jirachi!"

Both Link and Lester gasped simultaneously, exchanging glances, unsure what to think.

With skepticism, they approached the gap in the stone wall and immediately saw the sleeping Jirachi.

Link's body trembled instantly.

It was indeed Jirachi, no doubt about it - absolutely unmistakable! Surprisingly, after searching for so long, his cousin Linden had found Jirachi first.

"I discovered Jirachi first," Linden casually remarked. "Too bad we don't know how to awaken it. Cousin, since you were also looking for Jirachi, do you happen to know the method?" he asked Link.

"No, I don't," Link shook his head. It was fortunate that Linden didn't know either. All they needed now was to find Jirachi; devising a plan to distract Linden and Kalia would ensure that Jirachi ultimately belonged to him.

"You don't know either," Linden said, sounding disappointed. If only someone knew, they could then figure out how to make wishes.

Lian observed Link closely, sensing something amiss. The Brionne must be with him; otherwise, why would he specifically seek out Jirachi without knowing how to awaken it?

Upon finding Jirachi, aside from initial surprise, there seemed to be no further emotional change in Link, which was unusual.

It appeared that Link borrowed the Brionne solely for awakening Jirachi, with no intention of sharing this discovery with Linden.
