Although it was crucial to address Fu Hua's identity issues, it didn't mean devoting all their time solely to her.
After dinner, Zeke departed without taking advantage of Fu Hua's slightly advanced understanding of their relationship, despite its tempting opportunity.
After seeing Zeke depart, the Book of Fuxi let out a sigh of relief.
"Phew..."
Although she orchestrated this situation, her initial intent was merely to give Fu Hua and Zeke a gentle push, helping Fu Hua establish her rightful position sooner. As for deeper intimacy, it should wait until Fu Hua fully recovers and they truly commit to each other.
"Am I being too old-fashioned?" The Book of Fuxi rubbed her chin, murmuring softly.
However, she quickly shook her head, dismissing these doubts. While accepting many aspects of the new era effortlessly, some values must be preserved, such as the solemnity and cherished nature of love.
Then, the Book of Fuxi noticed Fu Hua sitting nearby, also appearing relieved.
Her slender eyebrows furrowed immediately, clicking her tongue in frustration, as if disappointed by Fu Hua's lack of assertiveness:
"Tsk! Pathetic!"
"Huh?"
"Is that how you treat your husband? Don't you know to invite him for an overnight stay? At this rate, how will you compete with those young girls?"
"I...I..." Fu Hua twisted her fingers, her cheeks flushed red, unable to respond.
The Book of Fuxi once again shook its head disapprovingly, sighing at her lack of assertiveness.
"Sigh! You truly have a thick skull. If you're so inept at winning over men, don't come crying to me later with complaints!"
Fu Hua's face turned even redder, rendered completely speechless.
'Even though he is my husband, and it might be expected, but that kind of thing...that kind of thing... I can't do it yet!' She covered her face, feeling an overwhelming surge of embarrassment.
Meanwhile, Zeke traversed the floating corridor illuminated by the radiant full moon suspended high above. Before entering his room, he sensed three familiar presences inside.
"..."
Silently, Zeke pushed open the door and stepped into his bedroom.
As expected, three small heads—white, gray, and pink—emerged from beneath the covers, their bright, twinkling eyes fixed on him.
"Hiss... He actually returned? Alright, you guessed it right; Zeke didn't take advantage of her. Here's your ten merit points tomorrow."
"Uhum! Bronya's victory was inevitable!"
"Long live Bronya!"
Before Zeke could even speak, the trio engaged in a lively exchange, settling their bet right before his eyes.
Apparently, Bronya and Kiana had wagered on whether Zeke would come back, with Bronya emerging as the winner.
Zeke's lips twitched slightly, and with a snap of his fingers...
"Snap!" x3
"Aiee!" x3
Using air pressure, Zeke struck each girl simultaneously, causing them to rub their foreheads in pain.
"Hmph!"
With a stoic expression, Zeke closed the bedroom door and headed to the bathroom for a shower.
Left in bed, the three girls rubbed their foreheads, exchanged glances, and soon burst into giggles.
"Ha ha ha!"
Opportunities to tease Zeke were rare, but now that they held leverage over him, it seemed like a perfect chance—even Sin, usually the most obedient to Zeke, couldn't resist joining in.
This harmless prank brought them joy, momentarily erasing any lingering discontent from waiting so long.
In the bathroom, hearing their crisp laughter, Zeke shook his head helplessly, also smiling.
Zeke, feeling relaxed, took a bath and then stepped onto the balcony outside his room wearing only a bathrobe. He poured himself a glass of red wine, appreciating tonight's exceptionally bright and luminous moon.
The three adorable girls in the bedroom, unable to wait for the tyrannical emperor's affection, peeked their heads out from the balcony edge.
Kiana: "What do you think Zeke is doing?"
Bronya: "If your eyes aren't needed, donate them to someone who can use them. It's obvious he's enjoying the moonlight, silly Kiana."
Sin: "Zeke~~"
While Kiana and Bronya tried to gauge Zeke's mood, Sin had no such reservations; she immediately leaped into his arms, securing the prime position effortlessly.
Kiana & Bronya: "Σ( ° △ °|||)!"
However, assuming that Sin, with her wild nature, merely sought Zeke's embrace would be too naive.
"Rustle, rustle!"
Nightgowns were already loose and simple, and Sin, for convenience, didn't wear any undergarments. Soon, like a pure white lamb bathed in moonlight, her charming allure made even the moon seem slightly dimmed.
"Mmm~"
Sin swiftly claimed her desired spot, draping her arms around Zeke's neck. Her beautiful heterochromatic eyes, filled with intense love, gazed unwaveringly at him.
Kiana & Bronya: "Σ(°△°|||)!"
Zeke glanced sidelong at the stunned pair before focusing on Sin's eyes. From her adorable flushed face, it was evident how deeply infatuated she was with him. Her love was pure and intense, devoid of any impurities. In a sense, Sin was the most innocent girl; she cared neither for justice nor the world, desiring only Zeke's attention and affection.
Gently caressing Sin's smooth cheeks, Zeke smiled softly and said,
"Even with your robust physique, moderation is key, Sin."
"But Sin likes it this way! Doesn't Zeke enjoy it too?" Sin tilted her head, displaying an unmistakably suggestive pose yet asking with utmost innocence in her gaze.
Zeke couldn't help but chuckle - what could he say? Actions spoke louder than words at this moment.
He set down his wine glass, hands gliding over Sin's skin, and his expression gradually turned predatory—like a lion cornering its fawn prey, leaving no choice but to feast.
Kiana & Bronya: "Σ(°△°|||)!!!"
The moonlight was exquisite.
But some experiences were sweeter than the moon's glow by thousands of times.
As expected, the war escalated rapidly.
After the Herrscher experiment, emotions had built up significantly within the group—fear, anxiety, sorrow, anger, and more, each intensifying their release into an exceptionally frenzied outburst.
In short, they indulged deeply in newfound knowledge that night.
Consequently, the next day, none of the three girls rose from bed until two versions of Cecilia wheeled in lunch, arranged the dishes, and quietly retreated. Only then did Zeke gently rouse them one by one and guide them to the table.
"Zeke, I want fish without any bones!" Kiana slumped lazily over the table, her voice weak with demand, quickly enjoying the treat of having Zeke meticulously pick out the bones before feeding her.
After serving Kiana a few bites, Zeke noticed Bronya and Sin sitting motionless, gazing at him expectantly.
Silently, a hint of exasperated amusement flickered in his gentle ice-blue eyes. Though he didn't condone laziness, for these beloved girls, he found himself readily indulging them.
"Zeke, give me a chicken leg!"
"Bronya wants soup..."
"Sin would like that..."
Taking turns, they demanded Zeke feed them personally. What should have been a quick lunch marked by rapid gulps and playful squabbles ended up lasting over an hour.
Of course, some feeding methods were rather unconventional—let's just say Zeke enjoyed quite a few delicacies during that meal.
Afterward, Kiana and Bronya snuggled close to Zeke on either side, their legs curled as they played mobile games together. Sin, meanwhile, nestled comfortably in his arms, her eyes half-closed in relaxation.
The afternoon warmth lent a particularly cozy atmosphere to the scene.
Bronya suddenly turned to Zeke and asked, "Zeke, don't you need to visit Fu Hua-sensei today?"
"I only need to keep a closer eye on her; it's not necessary to spend most of my time at Taixuan Mountain every day. Even she would likely feel uneasy about that."
"Mm-hmm, Bronya understands. You want to spread your attention evenly among us—ouch!"
Zeke gently tapped Bronya's head, giving her a deadpan stare as she clutched her scalp and complained.
"Don't make me sound like some lecherous scumbag."
Although, he truly was one, admittedly.
Sighing, Zeke looked at the girls around him and, feeling somewhat melancholic, asked:
"Are you two truly happy being with me like this?"
"Huh?! Is it your lack of confidence or ours? You're such a dummy, Zeke!" Kiana retorted without even looking up from her game. One could imagine that if not for her focus, she would have rolled her eyes.
Bronya blinked and flashed Zeke a sweet smile.
Sin nestled closer to Zeke's embrace, pressing against his chest, silently expressing her answer.
Zeke wrapped his arms around Sin's slender waist, dismissing the question from his mind. Happiness depends on one's own efforts, not by seeking reassurance through inquiries.
Regardless, he wouldn't let go of any of these girls who bring him warmth and sweetness. Thus, such questions were unnecessary. If they weren't sufficiently happy, it simply meant he hadn't tried hard enough or devoted his full attention. So, cherishing them, protecting them, and continuously striving to make them smile—that is what matters most.
