Sofia sat back in her rolling chair at the Long Island City shop, watching the screen before her waiting for something interesting to be written.
But alas, as the message board for the bounty had gone completely still.
Twenty minutes ago, people were typing fast, asking if Vance-TX and North Point had caught Arslan, or if they succeeded in injuring him. They wanted to gather anything to get out off of them from this mission they were carrying.
But now, nobody said a word after realizing these two accounts haven't said a thing ever since that last message.
One user named Midwest Guns posted.
[North Point, you there? Did you get the target?]
No reply.
Another user posted.
[Vance, did you get paid? What's going on at the yard?]
Nothing, completely dark.
A few minutes later, the green lights next to both usernames turned gray after they gave up on extracting any info, they knew those two account handlers are gone by now.
