"And you're sure about this," Kenton grilled, his heart beating fast.
"I'm sure of it, there's no mistake… We've seen the horses," The guard answered.
Kenton sighed, frustration and fear filling his mind.
"What do you want us to do," The guard inquired.
"We do the only thing we can do… Prepare for a fight," Kenton responded, gritting his teeth.
'A fight… Who are they preparing to fight… What's going on… Why is Kenton so fearful…' Gabrielle wondered, staring at Kenton.
Kenton looked back at Lexster, his face twisting in fear and rage.
"Get the medicine ready, we're going to need to transport her to a different location as soon as possible," Kenton commanded.
Gabrielle met Lextser's eyes, her body recoiling in fear.
