"Are you sure this is okay?"
On the way home, Shin sat on Tohru's back after she'd transformed back into a giant dragon and asked her.
The wish Tohru had just made was "Let Kanna be able to normally absorb mana in this world from now on."
It was a wish similar to Krillin helping Androids 17 and 18 remove the bombs inside their bodies in the original work—a wish thinking of others.
Kanna couldn't normally use her abilities in this world. Unless she charged up extensively at home beforehand, her strength and abilities were really about the same as an elementary school girl.
In the original work, Kanna had also mentioned things like "the mana concentration here is too low"—clearly she couldn't normally use her abilities because of this reason.
And if Tohru made this kind of wish, it meant Kanna could thereafter normally absorb mana even in this low mana concentration environment and wouldn't need to rely on electricity anymore.
"This is fine. Although Kanna doesn't usually say anything, she's listless for a long time after accompanying me in 'training' each time."
As Tohru flew through the clouds toward Japan's direction, she answered in a deep voice—a voice like a dragon's roar echoing through the cloud layer.
"So if she can normally absorb mana, it'll also make her more comfortable. At least she won't need to absorb large amounts of electricity each time and then use it all up at once."
However, after speaking, Tohru seemed worried Shin was somewhat unhappy, so she quickly turned her head to look at Shin and asked with some concern:
"Akawa, is it really okay that I made this wish? Should I have wished for something else instead?"
"It's fine. I already said you could use this wish as you like... Anyway, the wishes this Shenron can fulfill are very limited."
Shin nodded indifferently. This counterfeit Shenron was created by him, so he roughly knew what kind of wishes it could fulfill.
It probably couldn't even fulfill the immortality wish—at most granting an extremely strong recovery ability effect, but once the damage received reached a certain level, death would still occur.
To be honest, the greatest wish this counterfeit Shenron could probably fulfill was reviving the dead.
Although to others, being able to revive the dead was already quite an impressive wish... But these were Dragon Balls. Reviving the dead should be the most basic of basic wishes, right?
"Planet Cyril Dragon Balls' abilities are still too limited. I still need to try projecting Namek Dragon Balls, or even Super Dragon Balls."
Shin stroked his chin in thought—his mind now already had understanding of Dragon Balls' structure, but he still couldn't project Namek Dragon Balls.
So obviously, this wasn't a problem of theoretical knowledge anymore, but a problem of strength.
Ultimately, "Projection" and "Repair" consumed large amounts of Shin's power. If Shin's strength improved further, that bit of consumption would be negligible.
"It seems I still have to find a way to get my hands on the Sixth Universe's Super Dragon Balls. That's the most straightforward strength improvement opportunity."
Shin sighed and made a decision in his heart.
Thinking about it now, when Zamasu originally collected the Super Dragon Balls but only wished to swap bodies with Kakarot, it was truly a waste of heaven's gifts.
If Zamasu knew that even Planet Cyril Dragon Balls could directly make someone the universe's strongest by compressing their lifespan, who knows if he'd cough up blood in anger.
With Super Shenron's abilities, it absolutely could make someone the universe's strongest without any cost.
"Lord Shin, Lady Tohru!"
When Tohru carried Shin back to Japan and landed in the home's courtyard, they were immediately greeted by Kanna.
And Kanna's condition was clearly much better than before—if the usual Kanna still looked somewhat lethargic, today's Kanna looked full of vitality.
She had clearly already noticed the change in her body, bouncing around in front of Shin and Tohru with a happy face:
"When I woke up just now, I felt much better, and I can absorb mana from my surroundings!"
As she spoke, Kanna even demonstrated for Shin and Tohru—electric arcs began appearing around her body, able to use her abilities without needing to charge.
"Isn't that a good thing? This way, Kanna won't be so tired anymore."
Shin crouched down smiling and rubbed Kanna's head. He took quite good care of this loli dragon who came to his house with Tohru.
Tohru's wish had resolved Kanna's ability problem, which was indeed a good choice. At least seeing Kanna this happy, Shin's mood improved quite a bit too.
"Did Lord Shin and Lady Tohru do this?"
Kanna wasn't stupid either. Seeing Shin and Tohru acting like they already knew, she curiously asked them both.
"It's Akawa's achievement. Kanna should properly thank Akawa."
Of course Tohru wouldn't think this was her own achievement. She wagged her finger at Kanna and said seriously.
"Wow... then how did Lord Shin do it?"
Sure enough, Kanna showed a surprised expression, then pulled on Tohru's hand shaking it, just like a child asking a parent to tell a story.
"Mm-hmm, then I'll tell Kanna in detail."
Tohru's face showed a proud expression—though Shin didn't know what she was proud of, perhaps she was proud of having a secret alone with Shin.
After all, the others didn't yet know about the Dragon Balls and Shenron's existence. Tohru was currently the only person in this world who'd seen Dragon Balls and Shenron... or rather, dragon.
Seeing Tohru begin enthusiastically telling Kanna about what just happened, Shin also smiled helplessly and shook his head, then prepared to go wash up.
Don't look at how he "got up" quite early, but actually he hadn't washed up yet.
However, just as he was heading toward the washroom, he saw Gabriel in the hallway with a listless expression.
Gabriel had already changed into her maid outfit, clearly with dark circles under her eyes, looking sleep-deprived—one could easily guess she'd stayed up all night gaming again.
"Yo, Shin."
However, since Gabriel came to work, she still forced herself not to collapse on the floor and fall asleep.
She greeted Shin, then yawned on her own.
"If you go to school looking like this, you'll definitely be noticed by Vignette for staying up late, right?"
Shin looked at Gabriel's appearance of possibly falling asleep at any moment and couldn't help his mouth twitching.
Although it was indeed him who helped Gabriel remove Vignette's "shackles," Gabriel was also too lacking in self-restraint. Wouldn't Vignette notice immediately like this?
"Don't worry, I'll be careful and catch up on sleep when Vignette notices."
However, Gabriel waved her hand, indicating she'd catch up on sleep at school, and in places where Vignette couldn't see, so she wouldn't be discovered.
Shin felt this was probably a flag. He estimated that in a few days, Vignette would come looking for him.
