Chapter 615 - Chapter 615: Reines' Mysterious Hints

"Could it be that some reason is affecting main quest generation, causing the main quests for the other two mission worlds to never finish generating?"

Zuke pondered to himself. He felt there must be some reason why the main quests for Dragon Ball world and JoJo world kept generating.

"Could it be that mission worlds have an upper limit? Because there are already two or three mission worlds with quests in progress, new quests can't be generated?"

Zuke looked at the several worlds on the mission world selection interface and formed a hypothesis in his mind.

Currently there were three mission worlds available to enter—"Fate/Stay Night," "Touhou Project," and "One Punch Man." Perhaps these three worlds occupied too many quest slots.

Although it seemed somewhat absurd that a system with such divine powers would have issues like quest slot limits that seemed like garbage low-level code...

But Zuke thought about how this system previously had real-name authentication and anti-addiction systems, and suddenly felt this wasn't impossible after all.

Ultimately, although this system brought Zuke many convenient abilities, fundamentally it was still a game called "Infinite Terror VR Game."

Since it was a game, having low-level code issues seemed quite reasonable... though Zuke didn't know what kind of existence had written such a strange system.

"Forget it, let's go solve the matters with the Holy Grail War first."

Unable to figure it out no matter how much he thought, Zuke prepared to first enter the mission world to resolve his affairs—he wanted to incorporate the Mage's Association into "King's Army" before ending the Holy Grail War.

That way, even after the "Fate/Stay Night" main quest ended, he could still enter this world anytime without needing to go through the system.

Conveniently, Waver was now in Fuyuki City. Zuke could have Waver lead the way again—after all, Zuke didn't know the current locations of the Clock Tower's Lords.

The Mage's Association was originally commanded by the Lords, so as long as he controlled all the Lords, the Clock Tower would essentially fall into Zuke's hands.

Previously, Zuke had already controlled the Lord of Spiritual Evocation—Rufleus Nuada-Re Eulyphis—who'd also given considerable help when Sakura Matou studied at the Clock Tower.

And the Lord representing El-Melloi, namely Waver and Reines, obviously listened to him very much, not even requiring Zuke to use "Blackbird Lovers" to coerce them.

With this experience, controlling other Lords wouldn't be difficult.

"Zuke-san! You finally came back!"

Entering the "Fate/Stay Night" mission world and appearing in the hall of Reines' house, before long Zuke saw Reines leap directly down from the second floor.

The moment Zuke entered the house, Reines' magical barrier was triggered. Sensing Zuke's aura, Reines could immediately arrive on the scene.

Originally this kind of magical barrier should be used to guard against enemy intrusion, but Zuke felt it had now completely become something Reines used to sense whether he'd returned.

Relying on the maid outfit Stand's enhancement on her body, Reines wasn't afraid of getting hurt falling from the second floor. However, Zuke still reached out to catch Reines, not letting her hit the ground.

"Hehe..."

Feeling herself caught by Zuke, Reines showed a satisfied smile on her face, her mood quite elated.

When she was at the Clock Tower before, Reines had never felt this sense of security and trust. This was also why she rushed over at the first moment every time she sensed Zuke's return.

"By the way, Zuke-san, I accidentally drank the water inside the small Grail you left in the living room."

After enjoying being in Zuke's arms for a while, Reines seemed to suddenly remember something. She quickly raised her head to look at Zuke.

"I heard the Grail system has been contaminated. I drank the water from the small Grail—there won't be any problem, right!?"

Hearing Reines' words, Zuke froze, then turned to look at the small Grail on the hall table—sure enough, the water in the small Grail was gone.

Yesterday before Zuke left, Waver had poured some water into the small Grail, saying he wanted to observe whether that water would be contaminated by the Grail system.

When Zuke returned today and saw the water in the small Grail was gone, he'd thought Waver poured it out to study. He didn't expect it had actually been drunk by Reines yesterday.

However, Zuke carefully sensed Reines' "ki"—he didn't feel any abnormal changes. If there was a problem, the "ki" should have shown it.

So Zuke just stated what he sensed:

"It looks like there's no problem."

"Really? Shouldn't you check more carefully?"

However, Reines narrowed her eyes, showing a somewhat playful expression—clearly, she had ulterior motives and wasn't truly worried about her body.

"Like going to a room and conducting a thorough head-to-toe deep examination or something..."

"Reines! That's enough!"

Just as Reines was about to say something provocative, a voice suddenly came from upstairs.

Zuke and Reines looked up to see Sakura Matou rushing down the stairs from the second floor, still showing a trace of anger at Reines' sneaky behavior.

Just now Sakura Matou had seen Reines rush out of the room, thinking Reines had thought of something—but soon she also realized that what could make Reines so anxious probably wasn't some small matter.

So Sakura Matou also quickly thought that Zuke must have returned.

Sure enough, when she opened the room door, she saw downstairs in the hall Reines nestled in Zuke's arms saying something, so she immediately rushed down.

"Tch, interrupted."

Reines clicked her tongue in displeasure, then reluctantly came out of Zuke's embrace.

In front of Sakura Matou, she couldn't do anything too excessive, otherwise Sakura Matou would definitely step forward to stop her.

"Alright, you two."

Zuke also helplessly looked at Reines and Sakura Matou glaring at each other.

Probably because enemies had mostly been eliminated, Reines and Sakura Matou's mentalities had obviously relaxed considerably.

However, Zuke now had more important matters to attend to, so he looked at Reines and asked:

"Reines, where did Waver go?"
