Chapter 663 - Chapter 663: Kanna and Tohru's World

"Hm? You're going out right after dinner?"

Gabriel, wearing a maid outfit and holding a broom, stood at the entrance watching Shin and Kanna putting on their shoes, asking somewhat puzzled.

Although Gabriel had basically escaped her previous predicament, she'd obviously chosen to continue working as a maid at Shin's house.

On one hand, Shin paid really generously, and Gabriel could use that money to freely spend on gacha. After all, Gabriel proudly called herself an online game addict, and she played numerical MMORPGs—what was the point of playing that kind of game without spending money?

On the other hand, needless to say, Gabriel also hoped to spend time with Shin.

Although there were quite a few people at Shin's house and Gabriel felt too embarrassed to do strange things with Shin in a place with so many people, finding time to get close to Shin was still no problem.

"Yeah, going out with Kanna for something. Shouldn't take too long before we're back."

Shin nodded, his tone as relaxed and casual as if he were just going out for a walk after dinner.

If one just listened to his words, it would be hard to imagine that Shin was next preparing to go to another world to capture a powerful dragon and bring her back.

"Is that so? Then I'll tentatively believe you."

Gabriel looked at Shin with somewhat doubtful eyes, then looked at Kanna who was still putting on shoes.

If Shin were bringing another girl out, Gabriel would definitely suspect Shin's purpose for going out to some degree. After all, Gabriel also saw Shin's behavior patterns at home and knew full well how dissolute Shin's daily life was.

However, since he was bringing Kanna this time, Gabriel felt Shin probably wasn't so beastly as to make a move on an elementary school student like Kanna, right?

Of course, thinking about her own figure, Gabriel couldn't help but sigh—her figure didn't seem much better than an elementary school student's. Her originally somewhat petite figure made Gabriel look less like a high school student and more like a middle school student.

Thinking this way, Shin could even make a move on her... it seemed his moral bottom line wasn't very high either.

Shin didn't know that Gabriel was currently condemning his moral bottom line in her heart.

After bringing Kanna out of the house, Shin found an unpopulated corner, then directly flew into the air with Kanna.

After all, what they were about to do would make quite a commotion. At least in the air, they could avoid being noticed by people around them as much as possible.

"First transform into dragon form, Kanna."

Shin slightly loosened his grip on Kanna's collar, saying to Kanna.

Kanna nodded. Her body emitted blue light, and in the blink of an eye, her body size rapidly expanded and changed, then transformed into a white and blue dragon.

Unlike Tohru's form covered in scales like a lizard, Kanna's dragon form was covered in soft fur and feathers, looking like a stuffed toy.

Under the influence of perception-confusion magic, Kanna's enormous body wouldn't be noticed by people below either.

"How does Shin-sama plan to replenish my power?"

Kanna's voice came from her enormous body, even shaking the surrounding clouds a few times.

If they hadn't used magic to block people's perception, this sound would definitely have been noticed.

"Your energy source is electricity, right? Extend your tail over here."

Shin nodded, speaking to Kanna.

Upon hearing this, although Kanna didn't know what he was going to do, she obediently raised her tail and suspended it in front of Shin.

This tail was the organ Kanna normally used to receive electrical power. Even in human form, she would absorb electrical power through her tail to replenish her strength.

Shin had seen Kanna sitting by outlets at home more than once, transforming this fluffy tail into an electrical plug and inserting it into the socket to absorb electricity.

"Since it's replenishing electrical power, then...「Blackbird Requiem」!"

Shin chuckled softly, and his Stand manifested beside him.

However, unlike its usual state, this time the summoned Blackbird Requiem, while still jet black throughout, had golden light faintly flickering across its surface.

That was the power of electricity—that's right, Blackbird Requiem had devoured the Stand "Red Hot Chili Pepper"!

Red Hot Chili Pepper was a rather special Stand—its power was electricity itself, so when it lacked electrical power, its own strength would weaken.

But conversely, when power was abundant, the energy within Red Hot Chili Pepper could be converted into electricity.

Was Shin lacking in power? Of course not, so as long as Shin was willing, through Red Hot Chili Pepper's properties, he could convert staggeringly massive amounts of electrical power.

It's just that this ability usually had no practical application—Shin couldn't exactly become a human power generator, could he?

The next moment, Shin had Blackbird Requiem extend both hands, aim at Kanna's tail, then convert the power within his body into electricity.

BOOM!

An ear-piercing roar instantly echoed through the sky. Massive electrical current surged from Blackbird Requiem's hands, then was completely absorbed by Kanna's tail. Kanna seemed not to have expected Shin would suddenly produce such massive electrical power and almost couldn't handle it.

If this electrical current had spread out, who knows what kind of terrible incident it might have caused—thunderstorms were no joke.

Fortunately, Kanna still managed to devour all this electrical power, and Shin even felt the fur on Kanna's body surface had become somewhat more lustrous.

"Is this enough?"

After releasing a bit of electrical power, Shin looked at Kanna and asked.

He wasn't clear on how much electrical power Kanna needed to fully replenish her strength. He'd only converted a very small portion of his power into electricity, feeling it should be enough.

"It's sufficient, Shin-sama."

Kanna's voice had become somewhat muffled. She nodded.

"Then I'm going to open the door to that side... Shin-sama, please step back a bit."

Shin didn't refuse, silently moving back some distance, then watched as Kanna opened her dragon mouth wide and a huge magic circle emerged from it.

The next second, the magic circle burst forth with blinding light in the air, almost illuminating the somewhat dim sky.

After the light dispersed, a huge opening appeared in the air—this was the "door" leading to the original world where Tohru and Kanna came from.

"Phew... I did it, Shin-sama."

However, opening this "door" seemed to have consumed almost all of Kanna's power. Shin watched as Kanna's body swayed unsteadily, as if she might fall at any moment.

"Good work, Kanna. Leave the rest to me."

Shin nodded, extending his hand toward Kanna.

"You can change back now. Human form is more energy-efficient, right?"

Upon hearing this, Kanna didn't hesitate. Her form instantly shrank, transforming from the gigantic dragon body back into her petite human appearance, then landed on Shin's arm.
