Outside of Thunder City, on a muddy field, the forceful shouts echoed above hundreds of heads, urging these new recruits to run through the mud.
Not just running, they also had to ensure their steps were in perfect harmony. Only by maintaining synchronization could they avoid crashing into each other and falling flat on their stomachs.
These young lads were all newly enlisted recruits, and only about half of them had undergone military training before.
Before heading to Twilight Province to rescue their compatriots, they first had to undergo two weeks of training at the boot camp to become qualified privates and join their own platoon.
The time left for them was very short.
Fortunately, their instructors didn't have high expectations of them.
They just needed to learn how to shoot, reload, and stabilize their formation amidst the hail of bullets, trying not to flee before the enemy scattered in panic, maintaining the front line's stability.
