Brennan frowned, unable to comprehend the flowery language of this Oracle, but he read a hint of something he disliked —
The promise seemed not to be fulfilled immediately.
"What does that mean?"
Carian explained patiently.
"It means you can only partake in the Holy Meal you need, and then you must take the remaining Holy Meal to aid the starving people you have besieged."
As her words fell, the soldiers behind Brennan erupted into an uproar.
