"Help... help..."
In the burning hell, amongst countless charred corpses, a convulsing body crawled out with difficulty, stretching out a hand, trying to tug at William's pant leg.
The shattered face rose with difficulty, with eyes burnt to cinders hanging dry streaks of blood tears, humbly pleading and begging.
William remained silent, unresponsive.
He just propped up his numb body with a hammer, then lifted his foot, exerting all his effort to kick that face back into the flames:
"Fuck you!"
.
.
By the time William saw Ji Jue, it was already the latter part of the night.
Stumbling out of the descending Flying Airship, William, disregarding his injuries, leaned against the wall as he rushed down, shoving Meng Sang aside, and looked at Ji Jue, eyes bloodshot:
"Where's Ao Gao?"
"He's dead."
Ji Jue indifferently replied, "Killed by people from Sea Abyss Corner."
For a moment, William froze in place, dazed.
