Jiang Xiaobai turned his head to look at the Holy Maiden, waiting for her reaction.
"Grandpa, please rest well."
The Holy Maiden sighed, turned around and left. Jiang Xiaobai greeted Bai Feng and followed suit.
"Can I drop by your place for a bit?"
As they left Bai Feng's igloo, the Holy Maiden asked Jiang Xiaobai.
Jiang Xiaobai nodded with a smile and said, "Of course, it's still early. I didn't plan on going to bed this early."
"Let's go then."
The two walked toward Jiang Xiaobai's igloo. Once inside, the Holy Maiden suddenly covered her face and started to cry. Her reaction was so abrupt that Jiang Xiaobai had no idea why she was crying or how to comfort her, so he simply stayed silently by her side.
After a long while, the Holy Maiden calmed down. Jiang Xiaobai handed her a handkerchief and said, "Wipe your tears. You don't look so nice right now."
The Holy Maiden wiped her tears and said, "I'm sorry for the embarrassing scene. I just couldn't control myself."
