"Shut up!"
The Black Emperor roared, glaring viciously at Ruo Li.
"Little girl, do you really think I, the Emperor, don't dare to kill you?"
Ruo Li took a deep breath, meeting the fierce gaze of the Black Emperor. At such a dangerous moment, one step forward could lead to an abyss or perhaps a bright new village beyond the dark willows.
"Black Emperor, if you want to kill, then kill. I imagine in your endless years, there hasn't been anyone like me who talked so much with you, so thoroughly. After killing me, I hope you can let go of hatred, open your heart, and embrace rebirth."
There was no trace of fear on Ruo Li's face, just awaiting the inevitable.
"Then go die!"
The Black Emperor struck with a palm, yet Ruo Li neither closed her eyes nor dodged. The Death God was already ringing alarm bells by her ear, and she seemed to hear the footsteps of death, but she didn't care. This was a gamble laid all in, betting that the Black Emperor wouldn't truly kill her.
