The Demon Soldier laughed loudly to cover his insecurity.
"Kid, you're not even a cultivator yet; you're still green. What could I possibly be worried you'll surpass me in?"
Jiang Xiaobai laughed heartily and said, "That's for the best. You truly have nothing to worry about. I do want to surpass you, but even if you stood still, it would take me at least a year to catch up!"
"So don't have any other thoughts; focus on serving me. If I find out you have any other ideas, I'll kill you immediately!" said the Demon Soldier coldly.
Jiang Xiaobai replied, "Rest assured, I won't have other ideas. My only thought is to survive. When under a roof, one must bow their head. I understand this very well."
"Hmm, you're smart, kid. Smart people do smart things, not foolish things!" The Demon Soldier sneered, "Consider this my warning to you!"
