"What are you staring at? Mop the water clean!"
Jenning stood with her hands on her hips, speaking the federal language with a Suluo accent. Her black high heels stepped in the water, getting her socks somewhat wet.
Chen Ke hadn't expected the power to be out; it was quite embarrassing now. Standing next to the power switch, Sleery muttered under her breath, "Oh no..." and hesitated whether or not to use her magic power to help Chen Ke out of the situation.
"Hey! Don't touch that switch, the wiring isn't connected yet." The middle-aged man responsible for security pointed at Sleery, who was disguised as a guard, so the man didn't recognize her.
Chen Ke sighed, knowing he should have checked first. With no other choice, he might as well go along with it. Picking up a mop, he began to mop the water on the floor.
Seeing Chen Ke's action, Sleery understood his plan and headed downstairs.
