Chen Ke hung up the phone, walked out of the control room, and headed towards the folding doors on the other side. At that moment, a familiar voice called out to him from behind.
"Stop, don't move."
Chen Ke halted, not needing to turn around to recognize that it was Xu Jing's voice.
"Long time no see," Chen Ke said.
"Why have you come here?" Xu Jing asked.
"Isn't your people looking for me?" Chen Ke turned around.
Xu Jing stood about twenty steps behind him, holding a silver revolver in her hand. She had her hair tied up, wore a red leather jacket, black leather leggings, and black high heels.
"If you didn't stir up trouble, you could have had a few good years left," Xu Jing shook her head.
"I don't make choices, I only make decisions," Chen Ke said.
"You don't know what's happened on our side; the problem is more serious than you think," Xu Jing said.
"You captured my people, that's where the problem gets serious," Chen Ke replied.
