The seven Valkyries strolled along the muddy road, heading towards the Wood Bear Inn at the far end of the town.
As they walked, they removed their cloaks and took various weapons in hand.
Seven tall and robust women could be seen lined up, all wearing form-fitting chain mail, with their limbs exposed. Some had long hair, others had ponytails, and each wore high boot-style leg armor over their long legs.
The townsfolk on the street backed away upon seeing them. Recognizing them as the Valkyries of the Asgard royal family, they wore expressions of surprise and excitement.
The appearance of the Valkyries indicated a serious situation. In this remote town nestled in the valley, it was rare for such an event to occur, so after making way, the residents trailed behind at a distance.
