As Wei and hundreds of other lionesses began to explore the desert planet in hopes of becoming the All-King's consort, another serious event was happening billions of light-years away in another galaxy.
"Chloe, they're waiting for us…" Alora said to Chloe as she stood at the edge of the hatch.
Alora looked down at the circular opening, which revealed the arena below.
The wind and the cries of battle-hardened beasts entered her ears from below but it did not even cause her to frown.
She just stared down at the visible arena blankly.

The light from below shone on her face and illuminated the black feathers on her two massive wings.
