It had been a full fifteen years since Kael disappeared from the mortalverse.

Technically, Kael should be less than thirty years into his second life.
But because of his adjustments to time bubbles over some time, he was much older.
Five more years and he would be exactly one hundred years old.
Time was starting to go by. The first century was always the longest, Kael had heard.
After that, time would flow by very fast, decades would flash by in the blink of an eye and slumbers would take years.
Very little changed in the Original Heaven on the surface. Many could sense that a storm was brewing as the lions had strangely been very reserved about their troublemaking.
In the past fifteen years, their bullying had reduced significantly and their activities seemed to center around managing their vassals or regulating the mission boards.
Things were not right.
The lions were too calm.
But what could anyone do?
