The sky was getting darker.
The city of Landan was getting busier as this was the same time that a lot of people should be coming back home from work.
Rudy walked on the side of the street.
Her street.
The neighbourhood was quiet, but she could see the lights from the windows of the other houses.
Although it should be called a street, it was a particularly bad one. The houses here were not arranged properly and the street was a little narrow.
It was so narrow that only one car would be able to move on it properly. If two cars were to come from opposite sides of the street at the same time, one would have to move to the side and drive on the sidewalk to make space for the other.
It had to be said, this wasn't a particularly well-off neighborhood.
And as if to make it worse, there was an overhead highway bridge extending from the side of Rudy's house.
