How many times had Emperor Zain imagined what the final battle would be like?
Two scenarios had been painted in his head long ago.
The first was that he would stand against the All-King, the original All-King, and he would be able to easily defeat the tyrant with a single attack.
That was the best-case scenario, and it was based on the assumption that the allied forces would somehow manage to get past all the defenders, attackers, and everything that could possibly stand between them and the All-King.
That was wishful thinking, but it had still been a possibility that would have allowed Emperor Zain to solidify his ego.
The second scenario was much greater. It involved him and his allies, surrounding the All-King who had gone mad and refused to admit defeat.
In this scenario, the All-King had somehow gotten very strong. Strong enough to challenge Emperor Zain and many others.
