Chapter 104 - Space Paradox - Battle of Gods among monsters

Confrontation Between A'malther and Asriel Dreemurr

The vast emptiness of the arena is alive with the pulsing energy of Asriel Dreemurr's overwhelming aura. The multicolored storm of energy surrounding him bathes the battlefield in shifting hues, creating an ever-changing kaleidoscope of light and shadow. Asriel hovers above the ground, his massive wings extending outward, rippling with chaotic energy. His eyes, pools of cosmic light, lock onto A'malther with a mixture of amusement and condescension.

Asriel: "So… you're the one they call the God-King. How quaint. Do you think your divinity compares to mine? You've come this far, but now… now you face the end. Everything about you—your soul, your power, your dreams—will become mine!"

A'malther steps forward, his skeletal frame radiating a deep, crimson aura. The red outline of the determination force flickers on his chest, pulsing in rhythm with his heartbeat. SCP-035, fused with his face, chuckles softly, its theatrical tone cutting through the tension.

SCP-035: "Oh, this one's got a flair for the dramatic. It's almost charming, really. But let's not kid ourselves—this child, no matter how monstrous, is no match for you, my dear god."

A'malther's hands clench at his sides as he observes Asriel's grotesque yet divine form. His voice, calm but laced with an unyielding resolve, cuts through the storm of energy.

A'malther: "You are nothing more than a child who has stolen power beyond comprehension. You wield it like a toy, but I am no stranger to gods who think themselves invincible. You will fall like the rest."

Asriel's laughter echoes across the arena, booming and distorted, carrying both arrogance and malice.

Asriel: "Fall? ME? Don't you see, A'malther? I've already won. I have the souls of your children—their power, their essence, all of it is MINE! And with it, I am unstoppable. You're just another obstacle in my way… a final act before I rewrite existence itself!"

The determination force whispers into A'malther's mind, Chara's voice soft yet sharp, carrying an edge of familiarity and assurance.

Chara: "Azzy's always been like this. A child with too much power, throwing a tantrum. You can handle him. You've handled worse. You're stronger than him—you always have been."

A'malther nods faintly, his resolve hardening as he raises his hands, his gauntlets glowing with crimson and gold energy. The faint outline of his wings, dark and cosmic, spreads wide, casting long shadows across the arena.

A'malther: "Enough talk. Let me show you the difference between a child playing god and the true King of the Multiverse."

Phase 1: Testing Each Other's Strength

Asriel begins the fight with a show of power, summoning his Soul Fracture Barrage, sending massive, radiant shards of energy shaped like hearts raining down on A'malther. Each explosion leaves cracks in the ground, rippling with residual energy.

A'malther moves with calculated precision, using his Reality-Bending Wings to deflect the shards. Each movement leaves behind shimmering trails of distorted space. SCP-035 interjects with a sly remark.

SCP-035: "Careful now, my dear god. You wouldn't want to ruin your lovely armor, would you?"

A'malther counters with his Cosmic Starburst, launching beams of crimson light that spiral toward Asriel. The beams collide with Asriel's Spectrum Blades, creating dazzling bursts of energy that light up the battlefield.

Phase 2: Asriel's Overwhelming Power

Asriel enters the second phase of the fight, flapping his ethereal wings to create a Chaos Vortex. The vortex drags A'malther toward the center, where Asriel unleashes beams of multicolored energy from his horns.

Chara's voice cuts through the chaos, sharp and commanding.

Chara: "Stay focused, Azzy! Don't let him control the flow of the fight. You're better than this."

A'malther digs his claws into the ground, resisting the pull of the vortex. He summons his Determination Chains, golden tendrils of light shooting from his hands to anchor himself and pull Asriel toward him. The chains wrap around Asriel's arms, briefly restraining him.

A'malther: "Your power is impressive, but your arrogance blinds you. You cannot contain me."

Phase 3: Desperation

Asriel roars in frustration, breaking free of the chains and activating his Reality Shift ability. The battlefield distorts wildly—gravity flips, platforms shift, and space itself bends. A'malther adapts quickly, using his wings to stabilize himself and maneuver through the chaos.

SCP-035's voice is smug and amused.

SCP-035: "He's throwing everything at you, my dear god. How delightful. Let's show him what a real tantrum looks like."

A'malther summons a massive Black Hole Spear, hurling it directly at Asriel. The spear pierces through Asriel's aura, creating a brief shockwave that forces him to his knees. For the first time, doubt flickers in Asriel's cosmic eyes.

Phase 4: The Final Clash

Asriel, now desperate, enters his True Overdrive form, his body engulfed in blazing gold and crimson light. His attacks become faster, nearly unavoidable. He summons his Soulstorm Rain, covering the battlefield in chaotic energy orbs.

A'malther activates his Eternal Flame Core, his chest glowing with an intense crimson light. His aura expands, and his movements become a blur of cosmic energy. He deflects the energy orbs with ease, closing the distance between himself and Asriel.

The Climactic Moment

Asriel summons one final attack, a massive Cosmic Judgement Beam from his horns, aimed directly at A'malther. In response, A'malther raises both hands, forming a colossal Determination Starburst, a spiraling mass of crimson and gold light.

The two attacks collide in the center of the arena, creating a blinding explosion of energy. The shockwave ripples through the battlefield, shaking the very fabric of existence.

When the light fades, Asriel is on his knees, his form flickering and unstable. A'malther stands tall, his aura burning brighter than ever.

A'malther: "You fought well, child. But your power was never truly yours. It was borrowed—stolen. And now, it ends."

Asriel collapses, the stolen souls beginning to escape his body. The faint outlines of A'malther's children's souls glow brightly as they return to him, their energy reintegrating into his essence.

Chara: "See, Azzy? I told you—you're the only one who truly understands what power means."

With Asriel defeated and the souls restored, A'malther looks down at the broken child before him. His voice, calm yet cold, carries a final warning.

A'malther: "You sought to play god, but you were never prepared to face one. Pray that we do not meet again."

A'malther turns, his crimson eyes glowing as he walks away from the shattered battlefield, leaving Asriel to reflect on his hubris.
