Chapter 205 - Civil War: Battle of gods <Pt 6>

William's immense, compounded aura clashed fiercely with the chaotic waves of molecular force and dark energy enveloping Void Sentry, whose malevolent presence made the very fabric of space quiver under their combined might.

"I will tear you apart... just like your green friend!" Void Sentry snarled, his grotesquely twisted mouth spitting venomous words as his form surged with dark energy. With lethal intent, he lunged forward, thrusting the All-Black toward William's chest, the blade emanating a sinister call to obliterate its divine opponent.

William met the assault head-on, clashing the All-Black with Zarielle. Their collision unleashed a cascade of multicolored sparks, lighting up the dark void in a stunning display of raw power. The force of the impact was staggering, but neither combatant wavered, each holding firm against the other's overwhelming strength.

Like an unstoppable force meeting an immovable object, their clash sent both weapons hurtling in opposite directions. The All-Black crashed into the moon with meteoric force, carving an enormous crater, while Zarielle spiraled toward Earth. Unlike its malevolent counterpart, Zarielle, sentient and purposeful, halted its descent just in time, hovering mere inches above the ground near Vision, who stood facing an enraged Scarlet Witch.

Vision's android eyes scanned the weapon, triggering a storm of error messages and warning signals. The energy it radiated was profound, resonating with the escalating battle in upper orbit.

Meanwhile, Scarlet Witch's hands moved with precise, fluid motions, weaving a red mist between her slender fingers until it coalesced into a dense ball of reality-warping power at her fingertip.

Sensing imminent danger from Scarlet Witch, Vision had no choice but to seize the spear beside him, hoping desperately for the best.

Vision felt as though he was holding a singularity shaped like a spear, its internal intelligence clashing with his own mind in a battle of overwhelming intensity. Despite the weapon's resistance, it did not prevent him from channeling his internal energy source into it, creating a sphere of pure, concentrated energy that bore similarities to, yet was indescribably distinct from, Iron Man's repulsor beams.

Wanda struck first, unleashing an orb of reality-warping energy of immeasurable density that tore through the air toward Vision. Reluctantly, he responded in kind, countering her attack with his own.

The immense power of their clash caused the ground beneath them to disintegrate at a molecular level as they drew inexorably closer to a catastrophic collision.

"WANDAAAAAA!" Vision roared, hoping to get through to her.

"VISIOOOONNNN!" Wanda screamed, her eyes flashing with an intense red that made her appear somewhat demonic, her hair flowing all around her like there was an ever-present wind around her.

As Wanda and Vision's powers clashed, the fabric of reality itself shuddered violently.

A sphere of brilliant, blinding white light burst forth—

so intense, so overwhelming, it obliterated all sound, all color, all thought.

For an agonizing eternity, there was only light.

The battlefield was suspended in time.

Weapons hovered immobile in the air.

Explosions froze like quivering stars.

Even the ground seemed paralyzed, uncertain if it should crumble or endure.

Then—

The silence shattered.

The light imploded inward with a low, mournful hum, as though the cosmos were sighing.

Wanda and Vision lay opposite one another, motionless, their forms delicate and still within the charred crater left behind. Destruction stretched around them, yet they appeared serene, like celestial bodies locked in the final embrace of a collapsing star.

No one stirred.

Heroes. Villains. Beasts. Deities.

All gazed in awestruck silence, the gravity of the moment descending like settling ash.

A single wisp of scarlet chaos-magic glimmered faintly on Wanda's fingertips…

then vanished.

The last faint glow of golden light faded from Vision's chest.

Exhausted.

Depleted.

Not defeated by their foe, but by each other.

The faint glow from Vision's chest flickered and faded—

and the silence shattered.

A tremor surged through the air, as if the Earth itself exhaled in a mix of relief and terror.

Then—

Zarielle ignited.

The spear blazed to life like a newborn star awakening from slumber, its emerald core radiating bronze and gold brilliance. Runes along its length flared to life like molten inscriptions, each one throbbing with ancient authority and a fierce, unyielding resolve.

A single note resounded, clean, pure, absolute.

CHIME.

And then Zarielle ascended.

Not rose.

Not flew.

Exploded toward the heavens.

The atmosphere tore apart around it, clouds spiraling in its wake as a shockwave leveled the ruins below, scattering debris like leaves caught in a hurricane. Grass disintegrated into vapor. Ash reversed its descent, drawn skyward by the spear's gravitational command.

Ash halted its descent, drawn skyward by the spear's gravitational command.

And in the heavens—

William surged into action.

His aura erupted outward in a tidal wave of bronze-green radiance, blazing through the void like a second dawn. Space quaked. Dust dissolved. Distant stars faltered on their celestial thrones.

Void Sentry snarled, the All-Black screaming back into his grasp like a feral beast returning to its master. Its fangs and tendrils twisted, hungry, frantic, trembling with the memory of bloodshed.

William's jaw tightened, muscles gleaming with divine tension. His breaths steady. His heart thundered like a war drum forged at the dawn of creation.

KAIO-KEN ×3

The multiplier burst to life in an instant, a ferocious vortex of crimson energy tearing through his bronze aura in jagged halos. His body strained, veins blazing with cosmic heat, power surging in explosive waves as though reality itself recoiled from what was to come.

Bronze. Crimson. Emerald.

A trinity of destructive divinity roared from him, a furnace of resolve, fury, and purpose.

Zarielle tore through the atmosphere like a meteor forged from raw defiance, hurtling toward William at an incomprehensible velocity.

Simultaneously, Void Sentry surged forward, a primal howl erupting from within:

"FEED ME HIS END!"

The All-Black followed suit, jagged and otherworldly, ripping through the fabric of gravity as it descended upon its target.

William's hand shot out—

And Zarielle struck.

The spear collided with his palm in an earth-shattering impact that reverberated through the moon's core. Spiraling energy surged around him in radiant currents, the runes etched along Zarielle's shaft flaring brilliantly, as if chanting in celestial rebellion.

Before the warriors could clash directly, their weapons collided.

CLASH.

The cosmos trembled.

Explosions of black and bronze sparks erupted outward, simultaneously crystallizing and disintegrating, cascading like fragments of shattered realities.

Void Sentry hissed, venom dripping from a malevolent grin: "I butchered the Hulk. I will carve you into silence. I will extinguish your light." His voice carried an ancient, malevolent resonance.

William's eyes burned with fury, his expression consumed by rage as he sought to avenge the one, he considered his children's godfather. But then, his expression shifted dramatically. His gaze moved past Void Sentry, locking onto something else, just beyond, faintly visible, the green door emerged.

From the other side of Void Sentry, a radiant green door burst forth in a blaze of emerald brilliance. As Void turned his head to investigate, his eyes locked onto the enraged, monstrous figure on the other side.

"Hulk...? How?" Void Sentry exclaimed, his voice tinged with confusion and unease. However, the moment he diverted his focus from his adversary, the All-Black was struck aside, hurtling into the void of space. It vanished into the cosmos, destined to reappear elsewhere in the universe, gripped by someone consumed with vengeance against the divine.

POW!

A ki-infused punch collided with Void Sentry's midsection, sending him hurtling toward the glowing green door. On the other side, a far more formidable Hulk stood, his immense frame radiating power. As Void Sentry rocketed closer, the Hulk drew back his colossal arm, preparing to shatter the barrier with a single, devastating blow.

BANG...

CRACK...

SHATTER...

The Hulk's unparalleled strength obliterated the emerald door, thrusting him back into real space as his massive fist collided with the airborne Void Sentry.

BANG!!!

Void Sentry's body twisted and snapped in half, erupting in a grotesque explosion of golden and black ichor. His mouth gaped open in a silent scream, consumed by an agony beyond comprehension, even for his supposedly indestructible form.

Yet Void Sentry was no fragile opponent to fall from a single blow. Fueled by sheer rage and unyielding will, he began reassembling his shattered parts, knitting ruptured organs and mending his torn body until he stood whole again. His gaze locked with the Hulk, burning with fury and determination.

The universe still quaked from the Green Door's rupture as Hulk and Void Sentry clashed once more, pure rage colliding with cosmic corruption in a battle that reverberated through orbit.

Void Sentry, now fully restored, snarled with hollow eyes brimming with murderous intent.

He lunged.

Hulk lunged harder.

Their fists collided—

BAOOOOOM.

A star-sized explosion erupted, sending shockwaves rippling outward, careening toward Earth like a death knell for entire continents—

And then it froze.

Mid-space. Suspended.

A bronze-green aura illuminated the void behind them.

William hovered there, Zarielle spinning idly behind him, a celestial guillotine poised for his command.

The shockwave that could have torn continents asunder froze in place, particles suspended, space-time halted like a film reel caught by celestial hands.

William raised his hand, fingers tightening around a pulsating ruby gem embedded in his palm. The Reality Stone flared, blazing like a star unwillingly bound to his command.

His voice resonated through the stillness, firm and immutable:

"Reality... yield."

And the universe complied.

Scarlet fissures of rewritten law spidered across the void, weaving themselves into existence as a dimensional cocoon enveloped Hulk and Void Sentry, not a shield of energy, but a construct of altered physics.

Rules of matter. Laws of momentum. Constants of space. All capitulated to his will.

Void Sentry's head snapped up, tendrils writhing in alarm.

"What are you—?!"

William's eyes burned with hues of bronze, emerald, and crimson.

"A father," he declared, "protecting his home."

The cocoon sealed itself shut, reality shrieked as it hurled the two titans into a remote, lightless void, far beyond any inhabited realm.

A prison forged from existence itself, where only the guilty could suffer harm.

Hulk blinked once.

Void Sentry howled.

Space tore apart.

Within the sealed pocket, their collision knew no bounds.

Hulk's rage erupted like ancient thunder made flesh, muscles surging with arcane gamma wrath, veins pulsating with a toxic emerald glow.

Void Sentry's corruption unfolded in chaotic fractal waves, tendrils twisting into jagged limbs and abyssal fangs, his form fracturing to unveil swirling voids of blackened stars.

Each strike shattered unseen barriers. Stars, had they been near, would have perished. Galaxies, if they could hear, would have quaked.

Yet from Earth, all that was perceived—

was silence.

A remote, fleeting flash.

And William, suspended in the heavens, one arm outstretched, the Reality Stone blazing with such ferocity that the flesh surrounding it seared and cracked, only to mend itself instantly.

His hair streamed in cosmic gales. His presence radiated like a deity emerging from legend.

He murmured:

"Fight, Hulk. Hold nothing back."

Within the sealed dimension, Hulk's furious roar echoed across countless realities: "HULK SMASH LITTLE GOLD EMO MAN!" His enormous hand gripped Void Sentry's throat, driving him through a collapsing black star, conjured by the barrier to contain the overwhelming forces of their battle.

Void Sentry shrieked, his form twisting and reforming, black ichor spiraling like sentient tar. "You dare challenge me? I AM THE VOID—"

Hulk ripped him apart once more. "No. You NOTHING!"

Gamma lightning surged, followed by a massive shockwave of blinding blue ki energy.

At the Moon's edge, William steadied his trembling hand as the Reality Stone thrashed violently, like a chained god straining against its bonds. The gem seethed and churned, emanating a deep, ominous crimson glow.

Universal laws faltered, roaring outside the barrier as they struggled to reassert order, fighting against the chaos unleashed within.

William growled, his body trembling as he endured the searing pain and unrelenting pressure in his hand.

Zarielle hovered close, her presence fierce, runes illuminating the air with the intensity of a war chant.

The spear's voice thundered in his mind:

"SHALL WE END THIS?"

William's gaze pierced through the sealed realm, where the spectacle unfolded, Hulk dismantling Void Sentry's soul, tearing it apart piece by agonizing piece.

"Not yet," he muttered under his breath.

"He needs this."

His grasp on reality solidified, defying the forces threatening to unravel it.

"And if Sentry rises again…"

A blazing aura erupted around him, radiant and scorching like a second sun.

"I'll finish the job."

William hovered in the void, his molten eyes locked on the battle unfolding within the shimmering barrier. Each seismic clash and devastating strike sent ripples through the fabric of the pocket dimension, yet the barrier, forged from reality itself, remained intact. He did not intervene, not yet, but stood as a sentinel, observing the titanic conflict.

Within the barrier, Hulk and Void Sentry collided repeatedly, their colossal forms carving through the warped, isolated void. Hulk's fists, pulsing with gamma fury and unyielding rage, met Void Sentry's jagged, blackened limbs in thunderous impacts that reverberated like colliding worlds. Yet William remained composed, the Reality Stone anchoring the chaotic energy and preventing it from spilling beyond the confines of the barrier.

Void Sentry lashed out with shadowy tendrils, fracturing the pocket dimension and twisting fragments of darkness into weapons. However, without the All-Black to enhance his power, his attacks lacked the cohesion needed to overpower the Hulk. The green colossus adapted quickly, absorbing each blow and retaliating with increasing speed and strength. Each of his punches grew more relentless, sending Void Sentry hurtling through the collapsing void, his form snapping and twisting before regenerating, but the Hulk's unrelenting assault steadily gained the upper hand.

William's eyes narrowed as he discerned the patterns emerging in the chaos. Hulk moved with a brutal inevitability, each strike flowing into the next with devastating precision. The absence of the All-Black left Void Sentry's chaotic essence untethered, faltering under the Hulk's punishing gamma-powered blows.

With an explosive collision, Void Sentry slammed against the barrier, sending waves of violet chaos rippling through its surface. The containment held firm. Hulk surged forward, his fists a blur of motion, hammering Void Sentry and propelling him across the void like a meteor crashing against an unyielding mountain.

William's voice was barely a whisper, yet it resonated across the expanse between worlds:

"Good… keep pushing."

Void Sentry launched forward with desperation, a storm of corrupted limbs and jagged appendages clawing to ensnare Hulk. The green giant's roar tore through the void, reverberating across dimensions, and with one monumental swing, Hulk sent Void Sentry careening. The villain's form disintegrated and reassembled mid-air, but the momentum of battle had irreversibly shifted.

With an earth-shattering punch, Hulk slammed Void Sentry into the far wall of the pocket dimension. Cracks of fractured reality splintered across the barrier, yet William's Reality Stone absorbed and reshaped the force, containing the destruction within its confines.

Hulk showed no signs of relenting. Each strike was a symphony of destruction, each blow a channeling of unyielding fury. Void Sentry writhed, screamed, and lashed out, but with every passing moment, he was driven further back until—

Hulk hurled him skyward with a spiraling punch, spinning him end over end through the confined, surreal arena. Void Sentry's limbs flailed, black ichor trailing like smoldering embers, but there was no All-Black to save him. He was completely at Hulk's mercy.

William's eyes burned with bronze and green as he watched the crescendo build. Zarielle hovered beside him, her aura humming in sync with the arrival of the final, unstoppable blow.

"HULK SMASH!" The words that Hulk was known for echoed in the dimensional cage.

The green titan's fists became blurs, a whirlwind of force, smashing Void Sentry repeatedly against the barriers of the pocket dimension. Each collision sent shockwaves rippling through the very fabric of reality, bending the conceptual laws that governed the space.

At last, with a roar that seemed to fracture the cosmos itself, Hulk gathered the entirety of his gamma-fueled strength, twisting, spinning, and then—

SMASH!

Void Sentry hurtled headfirst into the far edge of the dimensional cage, the impact carrying the weight of a collapsing star, shattering the void from within, jagged fragments of shadow erupted, sending rippling cascades of light and energy spiraling outward in chaotic waves.

Void Sentry tumbled helplessly through the void, his form fractured, battered, and wholly overpowered. His fragmented body struggled to hold itself together, trembling under the relentless force of Hulk's onslaught. There were no weapons empowering him, no dark enhancements, only his raw, corrupted essence being systematically undone.

William's eyes narrowed as he observed through the shimmering barrier. He felt the triumph in Hulk's unrelenting fury, yet he also discerned a profound lesson taking shape, the collision of an unstoppable force against an immovable object.

Zarielle pulsed beside him, its runes glowing faintly as if acknowledging the inevitable outcome. William's grip tightened around the Reality Stone, stabilizing the pocket dimension and ensuring the climactic battle remained contained, a controlled apocalypse in miniature.

Hulk roared once more, hurling Void Sentry into a final, unstoppable trajectory, twisting, spinning, and bursting through the void like a green meteor of wrath, colliding with the final wall of the barrier in a cataclysmic impact that made even the suspended void tremble.

As the dust settled within the shattered pocket dimension, Void Sentry lay broken, battered, and utterly defeated, his form reverting to its previous golden state. Hulk stood triumphant, chest heaving, roaring, a living embodiment of unstoppable rage and power.

William exhaled slowly, his grip on the Reality Stone easing. The fight, this battle of gods, was finally over.
