Chapter 92 - Let the Crowd Decide

Luna published at the fourth hour and eleven minutes, which is fifty-one minutes before the semifinal check-in closed. She did not write a complaint, an appeal, or a request for reconsideration, since none of those things move a committee inside an hour.

What she published instead was a timeline with nothing argumentative in it at all.

Seven entries, each carrying a timestamp and a source document reference beside it. A coercion claim lodged at the fourth hour, an Association relay log at the sixth, a forced yard door at the seventh, then a healer's admission record.

Entry five is the one the whole of Orison actually read that morning.

It is a Directorate office access log, obtained under the licensing arrangement, showing the claim read into a Directorate building three hours after lodging. The Association had passed a coercion claim to the people it accuses, before the ink was dry.

"Say who published it," Yenna asked, from a bench with both forearms strapped.
