"You will stay here and wait for me to clear a path," Kent said, walking out of a cave they had been in for the past ten days.
"Once I clear a path, I will use a skill to teleport you to my side. But for now, stay here."
"Are you sure?" Commander Agnes asked, a little puzzled. She sensed no malice from what Kent said, meaning he wouldn't be abandoning her.
However, knowing he would be going deep into enemy territory, even though she couldn't help him, made her feel concerned.
"Although I can't kill Tier 18 or 19 beasts faster than you could, I can at least distract them."
Kent just smiled. "No need for that. I plan to investigate something in the inner part of this region and will return as soon as possible if what I find doesn't inspire confidence.
But even so, provided I manage to locate what I am searching for, we will be heading to the location of the Soul Flame Fruit next."
