Right when they appeared, Sylvara turned back to her human form and held Kent by the hand as they walked toward Orvath, still blocking Zeraphine.

The sea of flames exploded again, and Kaelith, with a handprint on his face, appeared, his bloodshot eyes locked on Sylvara.
However, that changed when he met Kent's gaze.
In an instant, his demeanor shifted from anger to fear.
"You will do well to not try that ever again. Trust me, if I want you dead, you will be dead by now," Kent said, his tone cold.
Zeraphine felt her spine shudder at the sound of such cold words. Even though Kent wasn't talking to her, she felt like the warning concerned her, too.
