The moment Kent saw Paragon smile, he knew something was about to happen.
He hadn't seen the battle from the start, so he couldn't tell how much Paragon had to endure in order to get to where he is now.
However, knowing the battle lasted over 3 hours and that Paragon was bleeding severely, he could tell it was very chaotic.
This only made everything worse.
There is no telling what kind of danger he had faced; however, watching him smile told him something that even Kent never knew was possible for a person to go through.
'It seems he endured the past three hours out of necessity when he could have tried to kill these people.' This doesn't make any sense to Kent.
'If he had what it took to kill them, then why hasn't he done that?'
The concept of toying with your opponent before killing them is not something Kent is friends with, so he can tell Paragon didn't toy with his opponents.
