Kent didn't know how long had passed. However, when he woke up, his surroundings had completely changed.
Instead of the familiar frigid environment on the stairway, he is now resting on the shore of a blue beach. Crystal marbles line the beach, even acting as bedding for him to sleep on.
The gentle touch of the water against his body was what woke him. The air is clean, and the sense of peace could be felt from the calmness enveloping him from all sides.
Kent remained on the ground for a few minutes, just staring at the blue clouds.
'Back in middle school, they said water is colourless, that it only reflects the colour of the sky. Now watching this sky, I guess I understood why the sea is blue,' Kent said inwardly, a small smile appearing on his face.
He had no idea where he was.
However, he wasn't in a hurry to leave.
The place is just too magical and peaceful for him to go just like that. In fact, he remained in his relaxed position, just letting the current pass over him.
