"So you are leaving?" Indie asked, holding Kent's hand.
After inheriting the underworld empress's authority, her presence now radiated absolute power. She appeared more powerful and exuded the aura of royalty.
"Yes, I have to leave before the Resentful Race, Undead Race, and Abyssal Race sense my presence," Kent laughed. "I didn't expect I would recover my memories this early. Most importantly, I never expected that I was also the one who killed your subordinates."
He studied Indie's expression, and when he saw no anger in her eyes, he sighed in relief. "I am sorry for that, Indie."
"Don't worry, Kent. I am sure you had a reason for your actions." She reached out and planted a kiss on his forehead. "While it would have been nice to return and meet them still alive, I am not mad that they aren't here anymore."
Kent smiled and nodded. While Indie clearly missed her subordinates, because of her relationship with Kent, she chose not to get angry.
