The first time they met, Jest had just won a duel against a Sword Immortal who, over the years, had bragged that he was undisputed at the Sword Immortal Stage.
Many tried to defeat him but failed, except for Jest, who was already widely known as the Genesis Swordsman. He defeated him in less than five moves.
This caused Jest's fame to skyrocket. However, that day, he also met someone whose understanding of the sword was deep and sharp.
The Blood Ancestor was known as Blood Eye Blade back then. They clashed in a fierce battle, one that caused an entire forest and the surrounding mountains to crumble to the ground. The battle was legendary.
However, Jest won, and despite sensing the Blood Ancestor's killing intent during their battle, he spared him and left. Years later, they met again, and just like the first time, the Blood Ancestor attacked him.
Yet again, he was defeated by Jest.
It happened a third time, leading to his third defeat.
