"Hmm, it seems like they're holding up better than I thought."
Captain Fang watched the fight between the Abyss Demons and the Abyss Guards.
It didn't actually seem like he was disappointed by this.
After all, it would have been too suspicious if they fell that easily. He had been the one that had arranged everything, so he needed to still at least act like a proper captain.
It wasn't as if the plan was finished yet. Before the final moment, there were things that could always go wrong.
But in this case, it didn't seem like things were going against the plan.
Especially when there was a gap that was created in the defensive line of the Abyss Guards. It didn't seem like they were able to hold on under the fierce attack of the Abyss Demons.
Not that this was strange considering that the main force of the Abyss Guards had been sent away.
"It seems like we have no choice but to get involved as well."
