"You're more worried about Benedito's reaction about the deal than you are worried about the money aren't you?" he looked at me with those eyes that told me he already knew the answer. "Has he called you?"
I shook my head already feeling the thunderstorm of dread feed into that odd despair. "No not yet."
"I'm sure he'll understand," he nodded.
"We're still financially tied," I sighed and ran my fingers through my hair feeling calmer now than moments before. "It's reckless for me to make such decisions. It affects you too."
"Those billions are yours Danilo," he shrugged, "I wasn't coming here to tell you it was stupid or not. I'm just here to make a plan for us both not to judge you."
"Even if I buy the hotel, promoting it and fixing the management is a huge undertaking I'm not keen to deal with. Hotels are short term projects for me. I'm not interested in dealing with this long term."
